Great video. My only brewery tours were on non production days, so I never got to see all the work that goes into it. I'm really enjoying all the vids from the BGN guys in SD.
@StumpyJoeJr haha yeah. Yeah there was close to an hour or so. The interview alone was around 20 mins. I cut most of it because his mic wasnt on and I wanted to keep the video moving. And yeah im posting 2 Tortugas tomorrow, well I guess technically today
awesome footage man. looks like they have built a really soild brewhouse throughout the years. i just brewed my first commercial batch on a 15 bbl system. i did the same milling like dude at 12:05, only the mill was as tall as me! talk about a bitch lifting those grains overhead over and over. cleaning out 1100 lbs of grain out of the mash tun with a shovel isn't the most glamorous job either. you got to have a passion for the pale!
@BeerGeekNation DIPA. Its the same recipe essentially from the crappy homebrew video i have posted. We couldnt get simcoe in bulk though, so we subbed some more columbus and added amarillo. Its Knee Deep Brewing in Lincoln, CA.
Hey Chris thanks for the video tour Man that was Awesome. I just find it amazing how the larger craft brewers are able to produce such great tasting beers at that scale and still maintain there uniqueness. Great stuff, Cheers !
this was awesome! can't wait to see more of the trip! I want to open my own brewery one day and am going to go to school for it next year hopefully. so this would be amazing to see!

Haha, you can definitely tell whether Daniel or I filmed because of the camera height.
How much footage did we shoot? Close to an hour? That's some crazy editing right there.
Are you posting Two Tortugas tomorrow? I'll probably shoot that review after work today.
