It's done by a trick called 'Washing Machine' or Washer; unsure which it is.

Anyways, it's not easy to explain but in short, basically I am untwisting the string by pulling it the the side of the yo-yo causing it to do a trick called Side Winder. Eventually if you do it right the string pops-off.

@Yowhatever Hey I just rediscovered this trick by myself the other night, the "washing machine" or "washer". I thought I was on to something, so I went searching youtube to see if it's been done before, and amazingly it has. Darn. But wow, what an awesome trick!

Bravo. I just started yoyoing so I think its amazing when I manage to land double or nothing. That just blew me away. By far my favorite was when you kicked the yo yo after it popped off the other string and then caught it.
