Visited Romania in May 2011. Bucharest looked like a dump. Trash everywhere, beggars, poverty, pickpockets. I regret that I ever set foot in that dump trash nation. Never ever going back there. Even Afghanistan looks more nice.

I live in Romania and this movie isn't about the present,about schools etc. It's about important personalities that invented something. Any way most of them were just born here and lived/learned in other countries as "Brancusi" "Mircea Eliade" etc.

Well, interesting movie, I'm sure all the countries have something to tell like this to the world. Just came back from Romania, had a great time there, never seen such a dirty country!! Never seen so many beautiful cars in Bucarest where everything is fucked up...can someone explain?!! I hope Europe will benefit to Romania! Some parts really need it. Some are perfectly fine like Sibiu.

Actually, it's a proven fact that Romanian schools are a lot harsher in what they teach than any other system. And believe me, it's torturous. Most Romanians know at least 2 foreign languages - which is something you guys do not see "fit", since your language is used everywhere, and you don't need to learn, say, French!
And gypsies are not "Romanian" but part of an ethnic group called "Rroma" (they named themselves that to cause confusion) and are all over Europe.

I live in Romania and this movie isn't about the present,about schools etc. It's about important personalities that invented something. Any way most of them were just born here and lived/learned in other countries as "Brancusi" "Mircea Eliade" etc.

Most of the ppl with a highschool degree get outsmart any college graduate in Us,the level of education in primary school and highschool is beyond american standards,that's why romanian kids kick ass in school olympics,that's why they are offerds schoolarships all over the world,who won the last Nasa competion?who?who?the americans that go to the great american schools?hahaha,no romanian kids that go to schools in poor Romania!!not just first place but 3rd place also..

Well, interesting movie, I'm sure all the countries have something to tell like this to the world. Just came back from Romania, had a great time there, never seen such a dirty country!! Never seen so many beautiful cars in Bucarest where everything is fucked up...can someone explain?!! I hope Europe will benefit to Romania! Some parts really need it. Some are perfectly fine like Sibiu.

Actually, it's a proven fact that Romanian schools are a lot harsher in what they teach than any other system. And believe me, it's torturous. Most Romanians know at least 2 foreign languages - which is something you guys do not see "fit", since your language is used everywhere, and you don't need to learn, say, French!
And gypsies are not "Romanian" but part of an ethnic group called "Rroma" (they named themselves that to cause confusion) and are all over Europe.
So just go get drunk or smth

Whats the big deal? I mean you come up with a laundry list of inventions in any country. Nothing here amazes me.. especially the part where Bill Gates is supposed to thank romanians for their jobs? He got cheap software development labor overseas.. most software companies do this... and there is no reason for him to THANK them.. they got payed nice salaries (in romania) to write software. He could have used russians just as easily but it went to the lowest bidder.

Your operating system is american (mac or windows, you choose). This website, youtube, is an american website founded by americans. no most of the money that i purchased this machine for went to Dell, Intel, and Windows. There are components from indonesia, china, mexico, vientnam, wherever the american companies could outsource their work. But the majority of profits go to American companies. If you buy a PC or Mac, your most likely investing in America, like it or not. America is leading hardware and software technology.
