  • These dancers were selected from across America as the best of all jitterbuggers, and they are absolutely amazing, especially the girl with the big head of hair, who does a solo spot with her partner.

  • This is so good, Then along came Lyndon Johnson and goodbye America

  • Bounce Me Brother with a solid four

  • What the Bob Saget is this?

  • Kind of interesting that women can look sexy without having to be half dressed.

  • @doscazadores you are soooooooooooooooo right!!!

  • The first time I saw Buck Privates, I must have been 7 or 8, I thought they were saying "bounce me brother with a salad fork".

  • @PoppaBlue59 As an elementary school teacher, I can imagine your little ears hearing that back then. It is nonetheless hilarious! Thanks for sharing, and aren't the Andrews fantastic?! Patty is 90 or so now but completely retired from public life.

  • friztoons - dont forget the howitzers ;)

  • Damn, they knew how to dance in the 1940's & 1950's !!

  • awesome just awesome

  • facebook way out baby

  • @glenw89 Sounds like a good idea. I'll see what I can do.

  • @glenw89 The reason this is so good is because they actually have talent and they dont need syths and autotune.

  • @glenw89 i just can't thumbs down hard enough at you

  • so funny moves i know you love it too

  • Gosh this always puts me in a good mood, each and every time I watch it..................

  • Great

  • Now That's what I call dancin'

  • In general I've always liked old music. It doesn't have any exaggerated emotion like in today's crummy music. They just sang it straight. Love that.

  • so fun & entertaining ! nice music & number. the andrews sisters were so pretty. wished they appeared more with A&C. they belonged together.****

  • I remember watching this on the Million Dollar Movie wor channel 9 N.Y. in the 50;s it was less than twenty years at that time since it was made, what talent. !

  • Wow! I remember MDM. My brother and I used to watch all the time back when we could both fit into the same chair.

  • Such amazing talent. Their ability to sing and move in perfect unison is unrivalled.

  • i love the dancer's swivels! andrew sisters bounce me brother with a solid four! love.

  • Spell machine right. >:l

  • Perfect.

  • This song was quite advant garde when it was released. You can see early traces of Rock N Roll , and Disco in this track.

  • I like old music because it has more soul. Andrew Sister, perfect example!

  • i have an amercian washing mashine from 1940 you can use....

  • i will have a time mashine to america in the 1940s!!!!

  • I just wish I had a time machine

  • a DeLorean would work

  • well preformed. you could always rely on the Andrews sisters to deliver the sweet music

  • Exciting and i never stop smiling...wonderful stuff!

  • i'm thinkin that the style of this era was fantastic and the music too and for a second i think , o man i would of loved to live in this era but then....i remember people were serious tight asses back then......i'm too liberal for all that shit about woman in the kitchen and all that.....ppsssshh

  • cool stuff love this kind of music by the andrew sisters

  • This had to be the precursor to 50's Rock n Roll. Not that far off. I love em both

  • This clip is absolutely brilliant.

  • Check out my video of Buck Privates and see what you think?

  • Lindy Hop swingouts!! Yeah. Glad they weren't doing six count.

  • Ahem, Pffft.I think that my grandfathers lost the war, because they said "Swing dancing forbidden!" and the Allies won because they had this fantastic music and the Andrew Sisters!! It´s not because of the Lancasters and B 17 and the Sherman and Cromwell tanks!

    ;-)
