You can thank the Defense for not holding up with the Saints needed 90 yards to take the lead, but giving it up. Roy did protect the ball from the defender on one side, and just didn't see him on the other, he did everything he was supposed to do.

@DCBStar Had Roy not fumbled, it wouldnt even had mattered what the defense did. Hell, even if he had just went down we would have at least burned some clock and then scored. Im not placing all the blame on him, im just saying that when it came down to crunch time, he was the START of the blame. We all know NO has one of the best offenses in the league. Why put that pressure on your defense by turning the ball over, thus hyping up the opponents top 5 offense.

@Segovia06 If you tuck the ball in correctly, 1 arm or 2, the fucker wont come out! I've seen many players get blindsided and NOT fumble the ball. If you squeeze the the life out the ball, it aint coming out. Im tired of this argument. Obviously the DC staff agreed with me (and a large majority of the DC fanbase) and cut his ass. So there, this argument is pointless now and im glad hes gone off this team. I still like him as a person, but he completely fucked us the entire time he was here.

Malcom Jenkins and Roy were at full speed and Jenkins went for the strip before he even thought about tackling him. He caught him off gaurd it's a blindside froma DB who had a knack for causing t.o's all year Roy had no chance.

Yes he fumbled the ball to give the saints the ball back but the Defense lost us that game in the end.
