@ChimesSoPretty Thanks, I have always loved this album ("Vapor Drawings") and after being at Staffa on such an overcast day, I knew that his piece was what I would probably use while I was still shooting.
Thanks for watching the video. I couldn't remember the track title off the top of my head. I actually love the starkness and lack of color. It felt like we we stranded on an island at the edge of the world. So glad the weather was gloomy, made the trip that more "dreamlike". I hope to see this island again sometime.

I recently went round the other side of Staffa where the dwellings used to be. Still got to edit it. Worth a visit. Maybe you'll get there & get a clip up before me. Best Wishes.
Cool, i was in fingals cave 4 yrs ago and it was scorching hot, were going back to fingals cave and surrounding isles in 3 days, hope the weather is good again
A bit gloomy but you can't depend on the weather. Your choice of music probably reflects your mood on the day. I was there two weeks ago and your final picture was more like the weather I had.

I like is the angles and the visual composition, esp from 2:18 to the end.
The music is a good match to the images. Minor quibble: The music is from Mark Isham, but it is actually titled "In the Blue Distance."
The video is a bit murky and indistinct - a natural consequence of the weather. The dullness of the colour is also something of a turn-off.
