i think it is fair for both charice and regine.Regine had her time. she still is a phil queen/diva and a LIVE BELTER even after 20 yrs. thats her accomplishment. that's what God has given her and the fans should be thankful as well. but the NOW is CHARICE. conquering the mainstream hollywood alongside bieber, gomez, swift. imagine that? we should just be proud of them. regine the old timer. charice the newcomer...we should all be happy.

@jsarahina i just want to share something,when lea salonga sang with a choir,all the choir members gave the same tone while lea is insisting that hers is correct. when they found a piano they found out that lea got the correct key, she beaten a whole choir with her perfect pitch^^ lea never failed in getting the correct note of a song whenever she sings^^
She's very emotional when she polished this song... One of those singers that can really incorporate the message of the song... I really commend her for that...

@nelle8842 according to miss jamie tatlo silang pumunta sa newyork para mag audition nang miss saigon kasama si dulce that was 1990 pero hindi sila pinalad at kahit makuha nila yung role hindi rin naman main kasi nga nakuha na ni lea yung main role at sya ang original... 1988 nung nag audition si lea sa london 1989 nag start ang london production sa west end at yun ang original.. yung sa amerika nag start noong 1992 pero ang audition 1990 at doon sila nag audition...

swerte kasi si charice sa panahon ngayon dahil sa teknolohiya kaya mabilis nakilala siya sa ibang bansa..sa case ni regine, she already prove her voice as a singer..she already made her name sa music industry both locally and internationally..lets remember that she is the asia's songbird.whatever you say we cannot deny the fact that she is really a music royalty that every singer wanted to be.no one can compare to regine velasquez..she has a unique vocal power and until now, a voice to beat!

@jsarahina i just want to share something,when lea salonga sang with a choir,all the choir members gave the same tone while lea is insisting that hers is correct. when they found a piano they found out that lea got the correct key, she beaten a whole choir with her perfect pitch^^ lea never failed in getting the correct note of a song whenever she sings^^

@nelle8842 according to miss jamie tatlo silang pumunta sa newyork para mag audition nang miss saigon kasama si dulce that was 1990 pero hindi sila pinalad at kahit makuha nila yung role hindi rin naman main kasi nga nakuha na ni lea yung main role at sya ang original... 1988 nung nag audition si lea sa london 1989 nag start ang london production sa west end at yun ang original.. yung sa amerika nag start noong 1992 pero ang audition 1990 at doon sila nag audition...

@reignraven nagpunta clang tatlo sa newyork para sa final audition!! the pre audition was in phils.. nakalusot sila hanggang final audition pero di sila pinalad till jamie received a letter congratulates her that she got the role!! but according to miss regine interviewed by boy abunda (2002) "she also received a letter but she declined the offer" and jamie rivera was a bit upset cause she came out like a second option pero sinakyan nalang ang issue cause who knows??

REALLY?? LOL!! bakit sya nkalusot sa pre audition??mmm.. maybe because they could still train her and they could use her as a substitute and they know that miss saigon is gonna be in the long run, the last show was held in Gainesville, Florida (2005) siguro 24 na sya that time ROFL!!
talaga kim ang inaudition nila?? im not stupid like u. LOL... di kasi pwedeng mag fly si lea from london to US every time na may show kaya sila kumuha nang substitute.

@reignraven tlagang wla akong pakialam sa pag decline nya..indi kasi ako tanga katulad mo naniniwala kay miss reg na may offer tlaga sa kanya. nka received din "DAW" sya nang letter but she declined it! bakit pa sya nagpakahirap mag audition at umabot pa sa final? smell something fishy! LOL no wonder why all regine fans keep on making up stories kasi pati idol nyo nangunguna sa pag iilusyon!who knows baka nga naman tanga lng talaga sya para i decline ang offer after all the effort mag audition!!

@remarqui well ndi magbi2taw ng salita ang artista sa televsion kung wala aman ka22hanan . . kc pag ginawa nyang magsinungaling at gumawa ng issue .. pangalan nya ang masi2ra .. ndi lng mga fans nya ang maka2rinig nun.. pati ung ibang tao na nagparticipate din sa miss saigon .. jamie,lea ,dulce .. hindi mu naiisip ung ganun bagay?!!!

LOL

@reignraven hindi pala kinaya nang kakarampot mong utak yung sinabi ko LOL... nagbigay lang ako nang mga sample na bansa thats why i said "ETC" kasama rin yong malaysia, hongkong, china, korea, singapore at iba pang part nang asia... mag aral ka muna bago ka umepal kasi hindi mo ata alam ibig sabihin nang "ETC"....puro mga hakahaka kasi laman nang utak mo.. hindi "ECT its ETC" LOL..
para mas maintindihan mo, ibig kong sabihin "ALL OVER THE WORLD" not only in asia... gets mo?
