see the similarities: Brandon Lee died during filming the Crow, which was an epic performance. Sting took on his persona and arguably became the biggest wrestling star of the 90s (along with stone claude)

HEath Ledger died during or shortly after filing the Dork Knight, again an epic performance. Stings new character may be inspired by him.

It all fits perfectly. Sting is once again on top of the wrestling world.

Sting beating up Hulk Hogan was 15 years in the making. I was also rooting for Sting around the middle of last year when he attacked then face Eric Bischoff. Sure, they're bringing back old WCW feuds, but is that a bad thing? Some of what WCW was awesome. It brings back nostalgia for me. As for new fans, they get to see some of WCW's awesomeness because it got bought over 10 years ago. Wrestling fans have enough turnover so that 10 years is enough time to pass by before repeating a storyline.

This doesn't make a lot of sense. Sting was obsessed with revealing the "real Hulk Hogan" before (as in revealing him as a corrupt guy that doesn't care for the fans), and now that he has that, he wants the "real Hulk Hogan" to come again (revealing himself as non-corrupt and loving the fans).

I love Sting, but I think this gimmick is starting to over-doing it.
