Fortunately the faces, particularly those of the females were given a revamp after the game released. As Fiddler-crab is mentioning, there's a tonne of gear slots, so if you want that nice rag-tag Mad Max look, you can make your gear asymmetrical if you so desire. Also the dye system allows for primary, secondary and tertiary gear dying.

And if you're planning on doing a lot of crafting, shooting a lot of points into Intelligence and Perception help with your skillups/skillcapping.

One of the things I didn't like about Fallen Earth is the crafting system. I hate games that ripp off idea's from other games. The crafting interphase is totally ripped off from blizzards interface. I hate companys that ripp off other peoples idea's, and call it a sandbox

I am playing this game too... but I am somewhat disappointed in the crafting... everything I craft is absolutely the same other people are crafting. No diversity, no specialities...

I do still enjoy the game however... but they took a wrong approach with the crafting.

Not having played it. I don't know how bad it is. But at least it's not wow where crafting in early levels is pointless and time consuming. Really you only craft to get the unique bonuses. Or if you're in a good raid group where you can get the plan drops.

Focus in this game are crafting. Gear comes from crafting so there are no huge boss people must kill and ninja the loot like in other games.

In some months patch 1.5 will bring more PvP content and more.

Well if your playing casual pistols are a good build because you can pepper them alot before they are close enough wich they do better than rifles. Rifles may have longer range but if they get close and your not good at melee your screwed because it takes alot of attributes off, while pistol has no minus. Plus you can have a pistol in one hand and a melee weapon in the other.

Fallen Earth has a fantastic crafting system. You can make a ton of things. However, the economy is not as advanced as I feel you might want.

Yes, you can be a pure crafter and earn experience by harvesting and crafting with only occasional fighting for key missions and no PvP.

But the payoff will be the joy of making gear for yourself, your alts, your friends, and your clan. Being a "merchant" will probably not be that exciting.

If you are truly satisfied doing nothing but exploring and harvesting nodes, making gear, and putting it up for Auction...you can do that.

But you'd be missing out on a lot of PvE and PvP content and I can't imagine it being satisfying for the long haul.

They did an update of the graphics at some point in Beta. The old graphics may be the source of some of those negative comments.

These settings have the "Very High" texture quality. I tend to play with top texture quality, but low "distance".

My FPS is pretty good unless I'm in a crowded city surrounded by other people.

One key is to play in "windowed mode". The window is full screen anyway, so it's like playing full screen but has better performance.

Of course...the moment I upload a video, I realize there are things I left out that I wish I'd added.

For instance, you can queue up 20 recipes in your active recipes window, but it only removes components from your pack as it starts each recipe.

So you have to carry that extra weight around (and remember not to vault or sell-off the components that are part of your queue).
