  • stupid pc.. touch pad not working and i can't eject my DVD.. also i have a 3-1-1 beep code at boot.. and the best of is that is just out of warranty ha ha..

  • Hey lead designer this computer sucks! Keeps crashing on me had it only 2 months noone will help me. Customer service sucks. gets hot jbl speakers supposed to be great whatever! Wont refund me wont send me new computer i am over my 21 days. Wont buy dell again! Go back and design it over!!!!

  • This PC gets VERY HOT over 90 degrees. I can not see it last for many years to come with such high temperatures. No one talks about it but try to have your pc on for more than 2 hours, then place your hand on it and you'll see.

  • You're damn right. I noticed that right off. The top is hot as ish! Saves me on heating in the winter.

  • Everything hes saying is practicly the same as what steve jobs said when he first released the iMac LMAO

  • i think the imac sucks..so does its operating system.

  • I like mine alot, look at my review! i bought a external dvi box and bought a dvi splitter and incorporated 2 17 inch monitors along with the XPS!

  • lol retard there are alose ports right on the left side of it

  • Usability issue: Why are the main ports on the CENTER REAR ? It is hard enough to reach the ports on the right rear of the Imac.

  • it a good pc i have one and my mom haS one only thing it could e better iz a better ghpice card the card iz good but all it would need be could be with out iz like a better card doses need much mayb like 2 -3 steps up

  • ill only get this if its able to play crysis if it cant play todays video games im not getting it. so the question is can it handle todays games?

  • I think it looks nice and seems to have a nice feel about it. And stop whining about iMac. There's always someone who takes the first step, but you don't see u s running around after astronauts yelling "Armstrong wannabe!". iMacs are awesome, but iMac and Dell XPS One aren't the same, whether you think that or not. I think it was nice and Dell deserves a thumbs up for it, and besides.. it's not THEIR fault that Microsoft sucks.

  • u are right. dell should get some thumbs up for this quality product.

  • yea does any kind of this kind of computers have an HDMI output cause im getting tired of playing a ps3 on a standard tv. and im talking about aby kind sony dell well u know please reply to this comment im trying to find the answer for this for a while already. PLEASE REPLY TO THIS COMMENT!

  • It runs vista....Nuff said....it sucks!!!!

    imac Rip off

  • rofl they actually did copy off the iMac!

  • Vista doesn't suck, and note that any modern computer can also run XP, ME, 98 or Linux.

But continue to remain an Apple sheep.

  • It makes more sense to buy laptop.

  • yes dude...laptop better

  • hmm, i like this computer,

but its so hard to freakin' decide.

    mac or this..

im wanting this, but at the same time

    a mac! ahh, help!

  • get a mac if you have the money

  • windows runs more programs

  • lol does mac have mediacenter more program.

mac also crashes by the way

  • That means more viruses.

  • I'd recommend that you try both for a while and decide. Both are very similar. I personally believe that the XPS One is technically better, but some prefer the Mac OS X operating system of the iMac. But at the end of the day, both are tools, and good ones at that. So try out both and pick the one you like best.

  • Umm... the iMac has better specs in all aspects...

  • This thing is pretty ugly. The iMac is more aesthetically pleasing but more importantly it has OSX LEOPARD. Not that shit Vista which this computer is carrying.

  • The Dell XPS one is not a ripe off or a copy of the Imac because all the imac is a white box on a stand basically a box and too femanine for a guy like me. The Dell xps one is Beautiful and not a white box it has a feel that standout and the features likes blue ray which apple doesnt have and the strong wireless 802''11g which apples sims to be lacking. The only upside is its not great for gaming which i hope you can upgrade.

  • I agree.

  • You don't even know what an iMac looks like, either what technical features it has got (surprisingly it _has_ built in wireless LAN xD), so please get some information before you post your statements.

  • it is a ripoff of the imac but this is better than the i mac

  • except it sucks as a gaming computer

  • and only has vista

  • Vista is actually really good when you have at least 2 GB of RAM. And the XPS One is upgradeable to 4 GB.

  • why would people want to game on a computer

  • lol?

  • cheap rippoff of the imac

  • Very true man... it's sad... Even the main power wire is white looks just like the iMac... I mean what is going on with these people...STOP COPYING FROM APPLE...

  • So what if the power wire is white? Most are. The iMac is basically a square on a stand. How else would you make an all-in-one? Would you stick a screen on the tower? Every computer has some similarities to another one. That's the whole point. People like familiarity. Just because apple MIGHT be losing some business to a perfectly good product doesn't mean you have to pick out every imperfection and flaw while you put your macs and ipods on pedestals and worship them like gods. Pagans.

  • Do you know what's sad? You call things like this a ripoff, but the only similar thing you can find is that the power wire is white? The iMac is just a mac without a tower. Nothing really special about it. The XPS One incorporates many comfort and useful features that no other computer has done before. If you're going to make a statement, justify it, or at least say something worth saying.

  • Well...Mr. Prodigy, I would like to take up your challenge. The XPS ONE has an internal webcam, right-side slot loading optical drive, high-gloss 20" GLASS screen finish, built-in wifi and bluetooth, centralized cord management through a shaft in the stand, usb/firewire ports along back, less buttons than Dell typically uses, flat-wireless keyboard (compared to bulky buttoned typical Dell keyboards), the 'cool' commercial with the white background and music...lol. But...it's still just a DELL!

  • If you're talking to me, I still don't know what you're trying to prove.

  • Ok..I'll list some more..LOL. The XPS ONE has a BUILT-IN webcam, right-side SLOT loading optical drive, high-gloss 20" GLASS screen, built-in wifi and bluetooth, centralized cord management through a shaft in the stand, usb/firewire ports along back, flat-wireless keyboard (compared to bulky typical Dell keyboards), the commercial with the white background and music...lol. The XPS ONE does come with blue-ray and that's about $700 more for that version. But does it copy the iMac...2 B continued.

  • its no a cheap rip its a rip but its better than the imac it has bluray

  • Ripoff!

  • For all of you that are saying Dell is copying MAC's, I just have one thing to say to you. What do you think technology is all about? One brand creates something new and effective and everyone else must follow suite. MAC's making an all-in-one was a great idea. You'd say Dell was stupid if they didn't do the same. MAC's and PC's both have awesome features. Deal with it and shut the hell up.

  • Exactly! Finally, somebody who actually understands that...

  • Their claim of being original was bothersome. Especially about the single wire coming from the back. Someone else showed them the value and they claimed it's their own innovation. That's just simply distastefully dishonest. I don't think the technology needs to lie about its origins of design. Go ahead and copy from the best, but don't act dishonestly when everyone can see what's obvious. It's insulting.

  • ur right...everyone must follow suite. But who's suite is Apple following..? The live up to their Think Different motto. Let's compare: Dell - Plastic, Vista, Low-end graphics card, Adobe software, speakers along side of monitor, keyboard w/o number pad, no monitor-out output. iMac - Aluminum Metal, Leopard (and option of having Vista simultaneously), NVidia or ATI Graphics card, iLife, built-in hidden speakers, thin keyboard with keypad, option for monitor out. Cheaper! U B the judge.

  • what a ugly piece of crap. relay poor job at copping the imac.

    IT IS UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amen

  • Compren una imac se liberan de windows y obtienen algo mejor

  • o una laptop hp de primera con un monitor de 24" para tener en casa...

  • "... and what was your end goal ...when you were designing it..."

Copy the iMac and make it different enough so I have an answer that avoids saying 'I was copying the iMac' for this interview.

  • has anyone bought this pc? please post your unboxing and reviews videos on it. So far there is none; i've looked all over the internet. No user reviews; its only these company reviews which obviously i dont trust that much.

  • not far hardcore gamers but very sleek

  • you lying designer; i think your end goal was to come up with a product that looks like an imac

  • It looks kick ASS, but pit it agianst an iMac, and it's a REALLY hard choice, their both good, but their both TOO good. Props to Dell for doing something, Props to Apple for alyways making me think twice on EVERYTHING...not that I don't like Apple.

  • Imac Killer? Please.

  • You know damn well its an iMac killer.

  • imac killer

  • Yes but it will alwasy lose to Alienware.

  • Alienware is shitty and overpriced?

  • first of all, alienware rocks u doosh and their relitivly cheap for gaming laptops, ur prolly just to poor to buy anything

  • Aleinware plays games, SO SHUTUP!

  • some of the things mentioned sounds oddly familiar. cool comp. regardless.
