The Totem works best with 10mm diameter ropes and under. You can use 11mm maximum diameter rope, but as a single strand only. You have to force the rope through the Totem just to get moving on a double 11mm strand rope. I really like the Totem because it allows you many rigging options for both single and double strand ropes. The Totem rocks!!!

I am new to climbing and I purchased the Totem for rappelling over the standard ATC because it seemed to be much safer. The Totem works great and I like the variety of different rigging options. Great video and easy to understand. Thanks for sharing.
