Fast-loading, plus it doesn't need a bunch of hi-tech resources to run properly. I would say XEROX and Apple revolutionized the way to work with an OS. But I wouldn't say it's the only OS that was a revolution. Remember AMIGA OS. It was even faster than MacOS.

You people are so out of it. Certain parts of the GUI were invented by Xerox, but Apple took what Xerox had made and revolutionized it. It's the same way tablets had been around for ages before the iPad, but Apple made it work for the first time ever.

Besides, Apple bought those patents off of Xerox. Microsoft just stole them.

I had an Apple IIe back in 1986 and I remember I had a speaking software. I think the name was S.A.M. (Software Automated Mouth) if I am not mistaken.

Now in 2010, after 17 years using a PC, the circle has been completed. Back to Mac, with an awesome Mac Pro 2010 running Snow Leopard.

Started with an Apple and finishing (in style) with an Apple.
