I rode it back in 1997. My legs fell out of it too. That was the last year they had the rip-chord. It was hilarious. Ppl would get to the top and not pull it.

I loved that swing! I was freaked out on that first fall before the line draws tight, but after that it was awesome! My brother wasn't so lucky. The leg bar slipped, and he was hanging uncomfortably with all his weight between his legs.

I went the last week of camp last year and my friend and a girl that was in our room went on it and i went in the tubing with another girl and she went to the swing and i almost drowned and was late for dinner

I don't remember. I rode that swing five times and twice I let my feet go, and the other three times I was able to hold the bar with my feet.

awesome! I want to go on a bigger one someday! I know of one in Brazil where when you get to the top you have a button that you have to push to let you down. I don't think I would be able to push that button. LOL!

thanks for the correction. it definitely is awesome! I used to like tubing down the creek but the water is too low now and you get stuck all the time!

Looks like a lot of fun! However, I am scared of heights, and it might give me more time to overcome the fear. I think I will enjoy this ride or any other rides similarly to this one. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could get one to set up in your backyard to ride all the time you want? Glad you enjoyed riding it!

I know what you mean! But I can understand why they do that. Otherwise there would always be a HUGE line for it and some people would never have a chance to go on it, while others got to go several times.

Tom Farrel is a really good preacher. The only thing about him is that I have heard his sermons several times. So they aren't new to me anymore. I was on the white team and they won! :)
