Winsorsoldiers has already posted a video with the soldiers returning to Wellington turning in the gate from the Approach Road. Now, at the beginning of this video they are already out of that gate unless we just don't see them coming out again and turning right but why would they go back onto Birdcage Walk and not be picked up inside Wellington

The Guards you are seeing are those that have marched off Horse Guards Parade then up the Mall and then reviewed by the Queen on a dais outside Buckingham Palace. They continue down the approach road to Buckingham Palace Road and then form left to return to Wellington Barracks to dismount as you see (trust me as I am standing opposite the Barracks entrance watching them!)

Question. Where are the soldiers coming from and where are they going? This appears to be Birdcage Walk and looks like they are passing the Guards Shop. We know they went to the Mall and thence to Horseguards and we saw them return to Wellington Barracks. So, what time of day was this?

At around 13:00 Ish

After marching by the Queen outside Buckingham Palace the Guards return to Wellington Barracks to dismount. The time would be approx 12.35pm.
