This song should have won... They music jumped during the chours which cause them to go out of tune a little, which I think was unfair. All the other songs were fine expect theirs. The Eurovision needs to have a more proportional voting system. It is not fair that San Marino has a population of 31,716 but can still award 12 points, compared to Germany with a population of 81,700,00 or Russia with a population of 141,950,00. 31,716 shouldn't have the same voting power as millions! It sways the league table as these tiny countries with lots of neighbours are at an advantage.

Unfair tactics used by countries to vote for their neighbouring counties has to be seriously challenged. The voting system is a farce and Eurovision is losing all creditably because of it. Eurovision needs to transform itself into a decent and fair competition to all countries who enter. In any other line of competition this type of marking fraud would be unacceptable, so why is it acceptable in Eurovision? You can not claim to be a true winner if you don’t win fair, it is as simple as that.
Britain should pull out of the Eurovision because all of the results over the last few years have been political. We have never been judged on talent, god knows we have got loads of it, its what is happening in the world and how our involvement in it is seen by the rest of the world.

@Kizillia Sadly that won't happen anytime soon. UK is part of the 5 nation group that runs the broadcasting side to the event. Thus, for as long as that continues, we will get automatic entry into the competition without needing to qualify, and the never-ending cycle of futility shall continue.

@salonikany I'm with you on this. Though in my opinion every country in the world needs to be involved. I live in America, and I wish we could be a part of this. Imagine if more than just the Olympics or disasters brought the world together. Music is an art form that can reach everyone regardless of language or culture. One doesn't need to understand the lyrics to be moved by a song. That's the magic, and Eurovision spreads it. First Europe, then the world.

Anybody who still thinks that the voting system is fair in Eurovision needs to get their head examined. The show is a crock of shit and a standing joke. Blue must have been desperate to enter. That said, they did OK on the night and I hate that kind of music but respect for having a go. You deserved better.

Ireland gave a great performances with a strong song and should have won. Azerbadjan's song was very good as was the United Kingdom.. Jedward and Blue were fantastic and did not deserve to placed 8th and 11th.

Unfair tactics used by countries to vote for their neighbouring counties has to be seriously challenged. The voting system is a farce and Eurovision is losing all creditably because of it. Eurovision needs to transform itself into a decent and fair competition to all countries who enter. In any other line of competition this type of marking fraud would be unacceptable, so why is it acceptable in Eurovision? You can not claim to be a true winner if you don’t win fair, it is as simple as that.

Britain should pull out of the Eurovision because all of the results over the last few years have been political. We have never been judged on talent, god knows we have got loads of it, its what is happening in the world and how our involvement in it is seen by the rest of the world.

@Kizillia Sadly that won't happen anytime soon. UK is part of the 5 nation group that runs the broadcasting side to the event. Thus, for as long as that continues, we will get automatic entry into the competition without needing to qualify, and the never-ending cycle of futility shall continue.

if united kingdom wanted the win they would pay taio cruz to write a song and theyd have somebody like jls performing in it. uk could win it every year if they were willing to fork out for it. but their not and no worldwide artist from london is going to stop earning millions for a few months and put making his album on hold so he can put all his effort into making a eurovision song and earn alot less instead. blue are past it they sang and danced badly they were really out of tune
