Back in the 80s Cripple Creek and Victor were my favorite places on earth. The "Assay Office" antique store always had the "good stuff". I don't even recognise it now, so sad, all that history gone.....
Hmmm, even though I got a little sick watching this; I swear I've been inside this bldg or one like it on a mine trail somewhere up there in Victor/Goldfield. It brought back memories and had similar characteristics to what I recall. Time for a little trip up there!
Hey there. Good luck...sadly they are doing more mining up there and many of those buildings have been torn down or you can't get to any more...it's really sad...
I agree. I used to walk up the Vindicator (fave mine/even did a preservation speech in college on this mine) trail many times a year; it's heartbreaking to see what's gone in the whole mining camp area and how they inch towards what they say they're "saving." My usual question is just how does one replant a mountain one has torn down?! They can't! And I'm told the mine's moving the road again and 300 jobs supported. The last time that one whole valley with the Economic Mill was filled in.
Ha, yeah, I was moving the camera fast to create the ghost trails with the slow shutter speed. Don't worry, just an experimentation; I'll have more like the others as soon as this snow goes away!

Could've been cool had I not gotten motion sickness from watching it. Love your other videos though.
