Want to get perfect armor really quick in Shivering Isles? THEN READ ON!!!!! FIRST you want to use the Level Glitch just look it up on youtube.. GO to passwell and look for a house named Shelden's House that house will have both amber and madness ore.....then go back to cydrodill go 2 someone who will buy the stolen amber and madness ore and sell it to them then buy it back......

Then use duplication glitch! THUMBS UP IF HELPED

@DESTROYER68483 madness ore is dropped by Grummites aswell can be found in Madness ore Deposits in Forts and Caves in The Isles. Amber Ore can be found on Gnarls aswell in Amber Deposits which look like Tree stumps and tree limbs hanging from the wall. You can get this armor right off the start of the game once the gate opens. At lvl 25 you can make the Perfect Amber or Perfect Madness Gear. Madness is Heavy armor and Amber is Light.

if you are lvl 1 your armor and weps will be impure lvl 2-3 unpolished 4-5 lesser 6-8 is normal 9-13 fine 14-17 very fine 18-22 grand above 23 is perfect you can make these armor whenever you like but i suggest you wait with using the matrixes for when you are lvl 23. matrixes are rare and they give an enchantment to the specific item. (this enchantment will not increase if you increase lvl) thumbs up so people can see

If you also have the corresponding matrix for a piece of armor or weapon they will gladly make you the enchanted version. You'll find matrices in chests on the Grummite creatures and urns. You'll have to search all over if you want the whole Amber/Madness enchanted armor set. Enjoy! I hope this was a help.

@AngryOrso Sure. Whilst traveling around The Shivering Isles you will find magic boxes called matrices. There are amber matrices and madness matrices. You will also find amber ore and madness ore. These are used by the forgers: Cutter in Crucible and Dumag gro-Bonk in Bliss. They will give you a list that tells you how much amber ore and madness is needed to make the armor. If you just have the amber/madness ore they will make you the unenchanted version of the armor. But.....cont.

@AngryOrso You can find Cutter at Cutter's Weapons in Crucible. She's my favorite NPC in the game. Be nice to her. She will fashion Madness items for you. For Amber items you'll need to see Dumag gro-Bonk at the Missing Pauldron in Bliss.

Madness and Amer basically have the same defense as Daedric/Glass being better due to slightly higher decimals in the defense Madness has a slight advantage because if you do the quest in Vitharn and get the unique helm it gives 10+ def instead of the ordinary which gives 8+

but it is down to personal choice as it is supposed to be in Sheogoraths name not about narrowing it down to the little calculations which Jyggalag thrives in as Order :) unless you're a trekkie who behaves like a vulcan

Depends on what you like to what is best... Madness armour is heavy (More defence/higher hit bonus). And Amber armour is light type armour (more speed/sneak bonus). Whatever goes good with your Major skills. Duplication is easy just use scroll trick.

im a lvl 25 argonian archer and i dunno if i should get deadric and madness armor cus since im an archer my character uses light armor, but the heavy armor inoblivion is so much cooler than the light armor and no i cant go to roxey inn to get the armor there cus i went there as lvl 10 to get mithril. at the moment im using the crusader armor set and no its not heavy unless your character is using heavy armor.

to clear the duplicating thing. this still works for me:

1. have multiple scrolls (i.e. absorb magicka x5)

2. double tap said scroll with A (for xbox)

3. now drop the item to be copied. no. of copies = no. of scrolls ( 5 scrolls = 5 items)

If you're talking about duplicating for xbox 360, I've got the DLC and all current updates. I can still duplicate everything except for filled black soul gems. I also have a friend that has all the DLC, and updates for 360 and he can still duplicate.

the crusader full setr is the best, gives 85 armor, +33 restoration, prevents you from being attacked by wildanimals, adds skill points to several skills, and gives you special powers (holy aura and such)

I already did the Madgod quest in this game were you get all the amber and madness weapons, exept their names are replaced with: God Of Health, for example. Its just each has its own ability. My favorite is God Of Range. Its a madness longsword exept when you hit a target it kills everybody within the range of 100 ft. of you!! If anyone is interested message me and i'll post a video.
