(Contd) then I got an "illegal opeation" error for windows explorer. So I rebooted again, and this time I tried just selecting the normal boot option. So I tried installing this on my LG ally. The bios seemed to boot up fine but then it went back to my home screen. But it has to emulate x86 which makes things slow on ARM and thus you are limited to Windows 9x. If our phones could run x86 code natively they'd probably be able to run Windows 7 just fine, my Droid has a 1ghz dual core and 512MB of RAM.

Ice done this before too... Kind of. Using aDosBox and some borrowed Windows 95 disks, you can make a virtual Windows within Android. Actually rewriting Android phones for Windows would be way overboard.
