In order to make a good decision they need to know (mentally) lot's of different guys. Joey should've saved herself because if you really are in love with someone you can wait forever or at least till 21 (you make better decisions as you get older). Pacey has no self control (not perfect bf).

Yeah, lying to Dawson wasn't going to help things in the long run. I know she was kind of backed into a corner but he would of found out the truth sooner or later. Reather it was Gretchen that told him, Joey finally would confess and she did, Pacey could of let it slip at any time. If Dawson and Joey ever got back together before we know they did, in a few episodes. It was bound to come out. It was just a matter of when. lol Plus, who says Joey's virginity had Dawson's name on it, anyway? lol :)

Since Dawson put so much faith in the "soulmate" card he always threw on the table whenever convenient, he figured he had first dibs on Joey and would hold her to some kiddie promise they made when neither of them knew what they were talking about. It just went to show that Dawson never inspired Joey to look forward w/ excitement, only to look back with guilt and analyze a "history" that more often than not proved to be played out and over-hyped.

It must be so terrible to Pacey. She denies, but she let it slip out..when saying that she never thought Pacey would have been the one. So I think he knows too.

i'm just putting this out there. If you were Joey and you had loved your best friend and had had a relationship with him. Don't forget him probably expecting her to save her viginity for him (thinking they would get back together). Whould you tell him that you had done it with his best friend? Would you want to hurt Dawson. Joey likes to tell people what they want to hear which isn't always a bad thing. Plus she still loves Dawson and always will. I love Joey and I love Pacey together.

Well, I certainly wouldn't volunteer the info on my own, but this is different because Dawson flat out asks her. I would either tell the truth and admit that I'd slept with Pacey, or I'd tell him that it's none of his business. I wouldn't deny it though. It's just wrong to do that to Pacey, and Joey knows it would hurt Pacey if he ever found out that she lied to Dawson. If Dawson is man enough to ask, then he's man enough to know the truth.

Most people in general, whether their best friend is male or female at least tell them they've lost their virginity. This lie was the beginning of the end for my P/J love. The chemistry would always remain, but I walked away from the series thinking that Dawson, and especially Pacey, were way too good for what Joey had to offer.

no they were really beautiful as a couple but Joey could never handle it beacuse she loved Dawson so much, she always runne aways from hger love for Dawson. But in every season they have kissed said they loved eachother and season6 should have been about them, they had finally grown up so muh but the wriuter really messed up there.
