It´s a pity that they are trying to give this guy a modern flavour with production flowrishes, he doesn´t need that at all, it sounds out of place with his style of singing. He is great, but the production doesn´t suit him at all. He should be singing these same songs with conventional playing, with a band, not with drum machines!

@randomtransit My opinion is that in this case the guy doesn´t get much benefit from such a plastic sounding production, I would have preferred to listen to an honest group of musicians playing their wood and metal instruments. Just an opinion, I believe it suits better to the artist approach globally. Obviously, I wouldn´t do that with Britney Spears! I hope this guys doesn´t end up singing that black cars look better in the shade, know what I mean (Gino´s infamous electro era)?

I am a classically trained pianist as well as french horn, I play bass guitar and drums, but NOTHING replaces the feeling you get from electronic music. Especially electronic music that is done with such soul and expression.
