@XFrozenSinX If you select "Adjust for best performance", this will happen. However, if you choose "Custom" you can enable all of the settings which you wish to keep. For example; "Use visual styles on windows and buttons." If you can't figure it out I'll message you again later but I'm currently at school.

@roachGfans What you are describing is step 13. This disables the boot screen therefore providing an illusion of a faster start-up. If you wish to change it back, simply uncheck the "/NOGUIBOOT" (No Graphic User Interface Boot) which will re-enable the Windows logo and loading bar at the beginning of your start up.

@mariolvswii546 To do step 9 on Google Chrome all you need to do is click on the wrench on the top right corner of Chrome then click on Preferences, Under the Hood and finally, click the "Clear Browsing Data..." button. I'd recommend checking all of the boxes and setting the "following items from The beginning of time". The easiest way to access this is by pushing Ctrl+Shift+Delete and it will open in a new tab.
