im living in the states and i would realy like my children when the time comes to attend college here in the philippines. what do you guys think of this?
If you're familiar with the educational system here in the Philippines, and your children are genuinely interested in studying abroad, then I say why not? Universities here are much more affordable than in the US, and in my opinion, quality is still up to par with the rest of the world. Just remember that in choosing the right school, there is only one University that produces Christian Achievers for God and Country.
@tot7tot If you are in the US at kaya mo namang pag-aralin ang anak mo dyan, eh di sa US mo na lang pag-aralin. Ang malungkot na katotohanan ay ang mga universities sa Pinas ay walang panama at never na magiging ka-level ng mga US universities, kahit UP pa yan or Ateneo or DLSU.

I was recently hired as a Teaching Principal for the Chipewyan Lake Community School with the Northland School Division in Northern Alberta, straight north of the Wabascan oilfields and Edmonton in Canada for this coming school year 2008-2009. It was my strong foundational background in terms of training and experience in the literacy/reading program that got me to the top. Kudos to DLSU for those graduate foundational courses.
I took graduate credit units at DLSU Manila in Education and Montessori specialization as an Italian Philippine Embassy scholar in AMI Bergamo. These equipped me to start the very first Montessori elementary public school program for Calgary School Board in Alberta, Canada. DLSU courses are totally recognized internationally in this country in particular.
I took my undergraduate on scholarship in Education in Maryknoll Loyola, my graduate units in DLSU Manila and Montessori specialization as an Italian Philippine Embassy scholar in Italy. These equipped me to start the very first Montessori public school elementary program for the Calgary School Board in Alberta, Canada. Many thanks to all of you opening doors opportunities for me internationally. DLSU courses are totally acknowledged and recognized in Canada
I should get my dual Canadian Philippine citizenship so I can take courses at DLSU.
It should be worth my while to take second undergraduate graduate courses in Education in your fine excellent institution. Such accolade! Kudos to all of you. Excellent job!
Thank you for your comments and praise! And thank you also for sharing that interesting information! I'm actually taking my undergraduate studies right now, and would most probably also take up graduate studies as a recipient of this scholarship.
