Hogan's stuff is getting VERY OLD. The business can't really get much more out of him ratings wise. The new kids that watch WWE will be well caught up on how great Bret was by next week as that's what stuff like youtube is for. I really think TNA's numbers are going to be well short of what they expect because even though they are live, they don't really have any great star power. They do have great wrestlers I think but in this day and age people want a good story too.
It's hilarious how some are arguing over the whole TNA vs. WWE thing. The one thing that strikes me is that WWE fans say TNA wont win the ratings war because Bret Hart is (tentatively) on his way back. Yet, as I recall a lot of those same fans either bashed the shit out of Bret years ago for a number of reasons or the new kids don't even know who he was or how great he was. I just find it gives a good chuckle. Either way, it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Yeah, that was completely shitty. However, Victory Road's match booking was originally done by Jeff Jarret but after the big situation that happened which resulted in him leaving the company. All of his plans for the PPV were terminated and replaced at the last minute.

Funny you say Bourne is awesome but he's as worse as the Divas on the mic. Thats why im saying charisma and mic skills aren't important to wrestling; they're important to sports entertainment. If Bourne wasn't a great wrestler and tried to depend on charisma he would be another Colin Delaney. And Cena is only big because of his marketing image. Hell he loses charisma everytime his matches start. And MVP is definitely being misused to question about it. Too many main eventers on one show.
All three of the companies are good at different things:
WWE spends the most money and you get the biggest spectacle. Sure it's aimed at kids but thats where the money is: a 40 year old fan won't nag his parents until they but him all 5 t-shirts and the hardy armbands...
TNA has the hardcore matches and the X-division, but most of the MEM is past it and Russo is a crap writer...
And finally, ROH has almost no money for pyro or big screens, but has the best pure wrestling...

I've finally gotten 2 the point where i can't even watch WWE anymore. It's become so stale and pathetic. It wasn't necessarily that the WWF won more so that WCW self-destructed. In its later days it was just a mess that really didn't know how to put on quality wrestling shows anymore. And while many people hate Cena, I certainly do, he is the face of the company and the money maker, and he is beloved by the younger fanbase. You can call the current WWE stale, terrible, shitty, and it kind of is in some ways, but it is very successful. And that success doesn't appear to be waning.

All three of the companies are good at different things:
WWE spends the most money and you get the biggest spectacle. Sure it's aimed at kids but thats where the money is: a 40 year old fan won't nag his parents until they but him all 5 t-shirts and the hardy armbands...
TNA has the hardcore matches and the X-division, but most of the MEM is past it and Russo is a crap writer...
And finally, ROH has almost no money for pyro or big screens, but has the best pure wrestling...

I've finally gotten 2 the point where i can't even watch WWE anymore. It's become so stale and pathetic. TNA could easily could easily overtake them the way WCW did 15 years ago, but TNA's production is so cheap and amateur. Their audience can barely hold anyone. Still if TNA moved 2 monday nights i'd watch them over WWE. WWE has the SAME matches over and over and over and every time they have it, Lawler says "MY GOD THIS IS THE BIGGEST MATCH IN THE HISTORY OF WWE!". THAT i cannot stand.

TNA recently had a PPV in a 14,000 seated arena and had only 2000 fans in it now after 7 years u would think if TNA were going to challenge WWE they could at least make the 10,000 mark. It wasn't necessarily that the WWF won more so that WCW self-destructed. In its later days it was just a mess that really didn't know how to put on quality wrestling shows anymore. And while many people hate Cena, I certainly do, he is the face of the company and the money maker, and he is beloved by the younger fanbase. You can call the current WWE stale, terrible, shitty, and it kind of is in some ways, but it is very successful. And that success doesn't appear to be waning.

Actually Kurt Angle didn't quit. Vince McMahon released him because of his health. Then Kurt wnt to TNA.
Booker didn't sign a new contract because he was busted for a drug violation.
Foley, Taz and Tara did leave on thier own power. Only Tara went to TNA when she still had something left. Foley is good for a few bumps but nowhere near what he was a few years ago. Taz can't wrestle anymore. Both are good on air characters but neither are what they used to be.

TNA doesn't suck. Taz let his WWE contract expire, and i'm glad he moved to TNA. everyone saw Mick Foley stopped being a Smackdown commentator, and he went to TNA a month later, AND won the TNA world title.

There's no way in hell you're 20 years old if you're bigging up John Cena. WWE is a fucking kids program now. Any WWE fan over the age of 18 is an idiot. Most WWE matches are snooze fests.
