Dallas was up 2-0 and it looked like it was going to be a 4 or 5 game series which is not appealing to an audience and I strongly believe that Stern and his refs manipulated the remaining games to help extend the series. One game Wade shot as many free throws as the entire Mav's team. Then it was 2 years later when I learned of this fixed series. Were any of the refs in game 6 ever questioned?

While its true that the Kings, despite the refs screwing them over, blew a chance to get to the finals in Game 7 by missing all those free throws, that Game 7 should never have taken place. imagine how different the careers of Divac, Bibby, and especially Webber would've been (and be remembered for) if the Kings had won the 2002 title. That 2005 series he was talking about was the Rockets vs Mavs. The Rockets went up 2-0 and had a 10 point lead in the 4th period of game 3 and then the REFS TOOK OVER and Yao Ming in the final 5 games starting with game 3 had 5 fouls or fouled out completly in those final games.

It's such a shame that David Stern cared more about the NBA's ratings and profits than its credibility and integrity. While its true that the Kings, despite the refs screwing them over, blew a chance to get to the finals in Game 7 by missing all those free throws, that Game 7 should never have taken place. imagine how different the careers of Divac, Bibby, and especially Webber would've been (and be remembered for) if the Kings had won the 2002 title. That 2005 series he was talking about was the Rockets vs Mavs. The Rockets went up 2-0 and had a 10 point lead in the 4th period of game 3 and then the REFS TOOK OVER and Yao Ming in the final 5 games starting with game 3 had 5 fouls or fouled out completly in those final games.

ok, first of all, Kobe was poisoned be for game 2 witch we probably would of won. And game 4 kings should of won but gave up a huge lead and then decided to pass the ball to BIG SHOT ROB for the final shot(thanks by the way). Game 5...it was a pretty fair game up untill the last coulple positions, Bibby was wide open because of an illegal pick(back when Fish was still playing great D) and Kobe had the last shot after that but was fouled right in front of the ref-so bad that his shirt was pulled

Funny, I watch this video on a night the Heat take 38 free throws to the Bulls 22. It's unbelievable the world we have come to, when something that is suppose to be as fun and such a get away as basketball is, that certain people have to rig the GAME that's suppose to be ALL ABOUT THE KIDS. @bztyou19 what the heat has done, the lakers have done time and time again. in the 70's 80's and 90's. the reason they kept on winning was bcoz they would team up the most powerful players in their prime and convince them to join the lakers. wilt chamberlain in the 70's, kareem in the 80's, shaq in the 90's. here's a little known secret it wasn't until the mid 1980's that they implemented a salary cap, what does that mean? the richest team could afford to buy the best players for the right price

Watching the NBA is entertaining. It's business entertainment. Pro wrestling is business entertainment. If you watch the NBA to be entertained by great athletes, that's great. If you watch it thinking it is true competition you are just a sucker that the NBA counts on. It's a sham from top to bottom. The refs control what happens and the business is run to MAKE MONEY. Game 6 WCF was just the NBA looking for more money. Another game and LA in the finals was more profitable. CHA-CHING!

Kings were the true champions, to still be in the game when the L.A Kobe Bryant's had 27 Free throw attempts.

listen, whether its the kings vs. lakers, celtics vs bulls or whatever the goddamn match up, the refs call some utter bs. This series, 2 things happened, and there were some calls on BOTH SIDES that were questionable and up for debate. Yes, it is quite sad that they couldn't play another game as they should have. How bout this, lets fix what we have now so that this shit never happens again. Anyone agree?
