Try as I may, I could never do get a flawless on this guy, but he's so easy to damage race I never bothered with it.

think i only dodged that lightning bolt once in all the years i played this game growing up, but in all that time i never knew there was a way to avoid all damage, i just tanked him and killed him before he killed me

This boss is actually really easy. you dont need any crazy tricks to beat him, if you just attack him and let the lightning balls hit you, you deal more damage to him then he deals to you, so you kill him before he kills you. pretty stupid.

I just run up and hit him until he dies. As long as you're quick he goes down easily.
