Hmmm... I too was taught with a dropped D tuning. Its sort of played in that key to give that Keith Richards/Stones feel to the song. Sounds good but its not correct...

I think your a whole tone flat on the main riff. Also the right hand rhythm is quite important, pehraps put your camera on that too so people can see it all.
