Well, if I get hospitalized, I demand the same rights as married couples in that my partner of 6 years should be able to make legal decisions on my part and visitation rights, which we don't have legally. I think it is a shame that she has attained so much importance and influence. She needs to be more generous towards gays and support their equal rights and the ability to marry. After all, her own mother has been married and divorced FOUR times. If she supposedly loves everyone, she should let them live happily and be allowed to marry.

It was not just Perez Hilton who was outraged by HOW she answered the questions but even the other miss USA contestants were shocked by what she said. It was good that she spoke her mind but she even admitted on the FOX news today that she knew that what she said was hurtful. I'm sure if she would have explained what she had meant more and been a little more sensitive to others feelings then MAYBE she would have won the crown.
