The fact that he could sing these songs live almost identical to how they were recorded is just insane. The amount of talent there is utterly mind-blowing.
Steve Perry's singing voice is one of the most melodic,emotive singing voices on the planet.
In my opinion on American Idol last night most of the Top 13 don't actually do what I call 'singing' but they shout as loud as they can. All the female contestants sounded the same as each other and most the males who actually had beautiful singing voices and could sing ballads or sing without screaming were eliminated.
