Problem with the 328i is the harsh engine breaking when you let up on the gas. At slow speeds, and especially in stop- and-go traffic, the heavy engine braking is enough to get many nauseous as the car does not easily coast to a stop. Further, the car emits a very high-pitch sound for about 45 seconds every time you open or close any door or the trunk. Finally, the run flat tires give a less than comfortable drive. On the positive side, the steering is great, and the iDrive is superb.

well...I don't know...i guess it's like when Acura changed the face of TL back in 2008; It will take me some times to feel and embrace the beauty of newly redesigned 3..the curve of hood and front headlight somehow remind me of Mitsubishi lancer and newly z4, the lower bumper seems like Audi TT RS.

This car has one of those designs that grows on you after looking a little peculiar at first, especially the connected headlamps to the grille. I think BMW has done a great job of making the new car return to the fundamental BMW design philosophy, while making it look interesting. And I'm sure that this car is better in every way than the predecessors engineering-wise.
