I mean, if your latching on to this type of d&b that much.. why not just listen to only old skool jungle sounding drum & bass.. it's still there mate, along side liquid vibes, techy vibes, minimal vibes, jump-up vibes etc. I think drum & bass has grown and evolved into something greater and broader, with more sounds and more vibes to relate to.

@zemlamusic I'm only saying Drum and Bass has changed for the worst over the past few years because it has become more commercialized. Too much jump up with horrible pop vocals. No energy whatsoever. Yeah sure, you still get the odd hardcore tune every now and then by the true artists who are key to the whole scene but otherwise it's all cack.

@redge89 tbh if break, calibre and the gang are what you consider 'going strong', then DnB is most certainly dead. personally i havent been to a proper dnb night since 2003, n thats not from lack of trying. theres was a link with the 90's vibes that isnt there anymore, its all music for your car now, not for live shows. which is a crying shame. n theres nothing to know about 'the scene', cos theres nothing playing, call the new 'scene' whatever you want, but its not DnB.
