@Calgar88 Really? Dang didn't know that. I thought the nationalists were this political group that wanted to reestablish the direct rule of the emperor, and that they were fiercely xenophobic. I remember one group that would set up outside of foreign embassies with their vans and aim loud speakers at the buildings urging them to leave Japan to the Japanese.

@henjokongo They are in a sence a political group just as you say and they do want to reestablish the rule of the Emperor as well as being xenophobic. Why they want to do this is verry odd since they are mostly koreans that are descendants from those that was forced to move to Japan during the war as slave labour.They see themselves as "true japanese" but the ethnic Japanese think they are sad and tragic.Unemployment and frustration makes people do odd things ( same storty whit neo-nazis)

Could someone tell me what is happening here? I don't know much about the politics of Japan... Is protest legal there? I don't know the circumstances... but to me it seems strange that for each 1 protester, there seem to be 10+ police... kind of an overkill in my opinion
