That's what Breakage did with jungle, listen to his acid rain vip remix and that's it...game over. He's just moved onto pastures new, tracks like Callahan, Late Night and Rain are astounding pieces of dubstep and shit on most others. I'm sure he'll turn his hand to breaks again one day mate.

the artists in breakage are amazingly taleltedand drum and bass takes alot of work to put together! you dont just put in a bassline and the amen break for 7 minutes...thats not what its about....you use faders, phasers,ect. in the making....no form of art is "that" simple, but this stuff is still great and crazy good to listen to! :D

your right but its even alot more than that. The breaks, are eq'd and cleaned up resequenced. all the sounds are engineered. getting the arrangement right is important for the tracks to work, Ive been trying to make dnb and jungle for years, i mean yeaars. it is far far far from easy to do it right.

Its very easy to make man, its just the amen sample, a vocal sample and a basic bassline on loop for about 5 mins. Oh yeh and a trumpet sample. All just sampled from other records. Very straight forward stuff.

The track is just basically stringing samples together. Give it a go! No point wishing you can do this, when you are probably well able to!

firstly its silly that you have to use a label to prove your musical status. I make plently of music, and from an imaginative point of view this track was extremely basic. I'm not sure if you picked up on my sarcasm in my comment, but that is personally how i would never make a track. It seems to be the same formula for all the jungle/d&b. If it was chopped up really well, i'd be interested, but it isnt. He did some lazy chopping, or that just may be all he is capable of....

if anything he succeeded in sounding like 1993 or something, but i would be cautious to say that this is excellent production. the reason why you dont hear 'classic' jungle like this anymore is because MOST of the community has graduated beyond a simple bass and a repeated amen break. the reason some people probably get so turned on by this track is because it reminds them of what they were listening to when they were younger and the great scene they were involved in
