@InweTaralom Actually cats don't have dry skin, they have oily skin. The funky dandruff on some is actually oil buildup. If you didn't wash your hair for months, you'd have oily, dandruff everywhere - that's what it is. Kitties should get a degreasing shampoo to help remove all that oil! Any conditioners would defeat the purpose :)

How is this abuse? My gawd I just watched a video where a kitten was in a tub half filled. This cat is in an inch of water and all she is doing is shampooing it.

Think of your pets like children. I'm sure some kids out their didn't like their baths and complained through them and such. This cat doesn't like his baths so he's complaining. But she is not hurting him for the love of gawd *rolls eyes*

It isn't cruel to bathe your cat. Sometimes they need it for their health. For example, I have two senior kitties who have a difficult time cleaning themselves. It isn't their faults that one is nearly blind and the other isn't as flexible as he used to be. They get greasy and smelly and full of loose hair. It is important to keep your pets clean for their health and not rely on letting them just keep licking themselves for their only form of cleaning.

@HahahahaCoughcough The cat may have been protesting, but there are reasons why they may need to take bathes; ticks and fleas, a harmful substance that accidentally got on their fur, or perhaps the cat is unable to clean himself adequately, so the owner must do it herself for its health. The cat may not like her at that moment... but once he's try and has a few treats, he'll be super loving and affectionate.

Siamese cats are also very vocal; they make that much noise ALL the time.
