Kathleen Edward's funeral was held on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home in Flat Rock, Michigan. Kathleen was buried next to her mother at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens cemetery in Livonia, Michigan. She was 9 years old.

Prayers and condolences to her family and friends. May this adorable little girl rest in peace, and be remembered for more than just being taunted.

Little Kathleen has died. I post this 1/13/12, after reading of her passing. As a mother, I can't imagine the loss of one of my children. My heart aches for her father and step-mother. As an RN, I know that Kathleen no longer suffers pain, seizures, spasticity, and the other agonies of a horrible disease. As an atheist who doesn't believe in a heaven, that she's no longer suffering is of some comfort. And since there's no hell for the Petkov's, I wish them absolute hell on earth.
