But some of them can be simply turned off while in the belt and turned on again after van allen's away.

Metals are EXTREMELY effective at blocking this type of radiation. In fact, the most serious problem in shielding against charged particles is getting the wrong level. The wrong amount is enough to slow lots of them down but not enough to absorb the secondary radiation slowing the charged particles down produces.

First, the belts are made up of two regions. The inner regions and the outer region. The inner region is full of high energy protons and you really do want to avoid this bit. Apollo skirted around it. The outer belts are made up of lower energy protons and electrons, mainly electrons. They are no more than beta particles really. The CM has a rating of 7-8 g cm-2, and that was enought to shield the CM occupants.
Secondly, while the astronauts travelled through parts of the outer belts, they did so quickly, to reduce their overall dose. The dose they received was tiny. On board radiation detectors recorded the doses the nauts received. hope that answers your question bud. I don't think the rad killed the Russian dog. That was just the physical exertion of space travel.

The sun exposes a immense amount of radiation, and there is no artificial protection from that radiation, only our atmosphere is protecting us. the moon has no atmosphere, and earth's atmosphere cannot touch it. NASA admits they had no protection against it. and that radiation can most creatures on earth. (humans are easy pray to it) so how, may I ask, did they survive being there? it is imposible, unless their immortal. answer that and ill believe in unicorns.

NASA had protection from it, since the astronauts were in space suits or space capsules. That's all the protection you need from this. Talk to SpreadingTheMuse if you want to know more; he's an expert on the subject.

Any child can see with their own 2 eyes that there is a large cloud of dust at the same level as his feet, which seems to reach the ground faster than he does. No, the Van Allen radiation belt wouldn't kill the astronauts. The belt doesn't extend more than 45,000km even in the largest regions, while the distance to the moon is about 380,000km. That means the exposure to the belt was very short. In such a short exposure, in fact, the greatest danger is not to the astronauts but to the electronic circuits of the capsule. But some of them can be simply turned off while in the belt and turned on again after van allen's away.

@shanedk There's also the fact that the Belts are composed of charged particles, which are, by FAR, the EASIEST kind of radiation to shield against. Metals are EXTREMELY effective at blocking this type of radiation. In fact, the most serious problem in shielding against charged particles is getting the wrong level. The wrong amount is enough to slow lots of them down but not enough to absorb the secondary radiation slowing the charged particles down produces.

First, the belts are made up of two regions. The inner regions and the outer region. The inner region is full of high energy protons and you really do want to avoid this bit. Apollo skirted around it. The outer belts are made up of lower energy protons and electrons, mainly electrons. They are no more than beta particles really. The CM has a rating of 7-8 g cm-2, and that was enought to shield the CM occupants.

Secondly, while the astronauts travelled through parts of the outer belts, they did so quickly, to reduce their overall dose. The dose they received was tiny. On board radiation detectors recorded the doses the nauts received. hope that answers your question bud. I don't think the rad killed the Russian dog. That was just the physical exertion of space travel.

I have other videos on this: a couple where I drop a weight and prove that the footage is at the proper rate of fall (2.46 times Earth normal), and one where I calculate the height of Young's jump and extrapolate it to his total height.
Any ONE of these should shut up the moon hoaxers. But it doesn't, of course; they don't live in an evidence-based world.

How does one argue with a guy who claims he can measure the height of a rapidly dispersing cloud of dust? (As if thousands of individual particles launched a all different velocities and angles has any one value that can be measured.)
The only way to deal with this is, as we've pointed out, to show that the dust doesn't go as high as the Young's feet, so it comes down sooner.

I think he only reason you thought it fell at a different RATE is because it fell SOONER. Then I think you realized it SHOULD fall sooner because it didn't go as high as the astronaut's feet, so you focused on the rate.
But as I have pointed out before and as Shane has pointed out again, there is nothing wrong with the rate. If you take the top portion of the astronaut's trajectory, approx. equal to the vertical distance the dust traveled, you will find that they are the same.

he never proved that, he just like to hammer that "he proved it" but he know that he didn't, i mentioned how badly his figures are placed in his little demo in which he pretend to prove the position is close enough so he could touch it, and he of course refused (as always) to take a second look at it while checking the points i've mentioned, he also refused to make a simple double check with another position, that would have proved immediatly that his position was flawed.

I commend you for dealing with these conspiracy nuts, however why don't you just march these savants into one of the observatories that fires lasers at the Apollo 11 Laser Ranging Retroreflector? They can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they left the reflector there by bouncing a laser off of it (I think McDonald Obseratory in Texas was actively measuring the Earth-Moon distance at one time - Are they still?).
You would think the nuts would have given up after the MythBusters episode.

shanedk, 189cm is your finding and this surely would be a somewhat realistic height for this clown, the only problem is that your gap is calculated (by assuming they are on the moon) at 13cm high, and therefore there is no way this gap would fit 14,53 times on the height of this astro-clown, and you know it.
So admit that you made an error on your video, admit that this gap CAN'T be 13cm, and finally, admit that you since this gap can't be 13cm, this scene is faked.

shanedk pretend that he can fit the vertical gap that is between the white lines at 0:54 for 14,53 times into the height of the first plan astro-clown, can you realize how much of a degenerate one need to be to pretend that to be correct ?? well it's exactly what shanedk is pretending; on the other I say that this gap only fits ~6,5 times (and i've given a margin of 6 to 7,5 times depending on HOW you appreciate the boundaries of boththe clown height, and the gap.

The astronaut is a free falling body in a vacuum, he will experience exactly the same acceleration due to gravity as any other bodies, i.e. the dust particles.
Differences in size and mass are irrelevant , there are no other external forces apart from gravity as friction due to air resistance cannot exist in a vacuum.
Both the astronaut and the dust fall , from peak height, the same distance in the same time, proving they are both experiencing the same force of gravity.

Marcus, we all agree on that, if the astro-clown was indeed freefalling in a vacuum that would be the case. The problem here, is that shanedk finally accepted to reveal what distance from an apex his 12 frames were representing IF we consider this scene to be filmed on the moon, and he ended up with the very damaging (and correct) result of 12,9 cm !
Now compare the gap he overlined (that is then supposed to represent 12,9 cm) with the astro-clown height...

Now tell me what is according to you the height represented in this overline gap (just visually)
