  • Amazing set-up

  • do you have false bottoms? thnks

  • aw:) yellow backs are so cute:)

  • what size tanks

  • Interesting... this reinforces my belief that every frog owner sounds like Kermit the Frog.

  • Love it

  • What kind of moss do you have in the Azures tanks next to the Pillow moss?? At 1:54 One of them is on it.

  • are they posion

  • the fog---what kind of gas is that ?

  • @heidbrain It is just vaporized water.

  • awesome set up what kind of humitifier is that ? an how hard is it to care for the drt frogs

  • Okay, I hope this clears it up for some people: captive bred poison dart frogs are not poisonous. It is the food in the wild they eat that gives them their toxins. Also, you don't need an open wound or mouth/eye contact to be poisoned. If you touch it, you're poisoned.

  • @Pop12646Okami i was wondering if you have them in a tank and not feeding them the food that they eat in the wild whould you be able to handel theam

  • @redMONSTER3 Yup. I think it's some kind of wild fire ant that they eat an they absorb the toxins. So as long as you don't feed it fire ants, you should be ok. :P

But I think you need to rinse your hands very well before handling, because they may be able to absorb toxins from your hands, as in, chlorines and soap toxins and stuff. I've handled all kinds of frogs and other amphibians before and I'm always warned to rinse and dry my hands very well before holding them.

  • beautiful setup man !

  • really nice set up

  • are poison dart frogs still posinoius if you touch them with an open wound or put your hands to your mouth

  • @ScreamFan390

Sorry, but put a frog in your mouth? :S

  • You did really have a bad sore throat down there...

  • hah he said shaft.

  • can a fire salamander live with dart frogs?

  • @snivy606 ummmm I wouldnt dare put my hand in there while the frogs are there.....

  • Would really like to ask some questions about my setup soon

  • Hello what are the species of plants in your tanks? Cheers

  • if you put your hand in there its realy REALLY warm

  • so your background is made of...

  • im looking to make a frog setup like this, and was wondering how much you got for them

  • How much are you selling it for

  • Amazing tanks, I love the yellow & black colored ones. The green moss is so eye-catching.

  • im getting a PA bumbebee dart and i love tht i cnt findthe ants they eat because i dont wna die

  • I'm in the process of setting up a dart frog vivarium in a 30 gallon right now

  • nice set up

  • cool frogs

  • GLaDOS: Oh look. It's your friend, deadly neurotoxin. If I were you I would take a deep breath, and hold it.

  • Though you CAN hold them, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Yes, the insects they eat in the wild give them their toxicity, they still have very delicate skin. Handling is risky, and not recommended.

  • what timer do you use so it turns on so often

  • i want to buy some dart frogs but im unsure what size tank to get, you tank looks really nice and a really good size, what size is that tank in inches? thanks

  • what size are those 2 tanks?

  • ill buy the frogs

  • is it poison on contact? or do you need to have pierced skin? id be too nervous to feed them... i dont know much about these frogs however :P

  • Very nice set up is it possible to find those frogs at a pet store how did u get yours?

  • really nice tanks

  • Did you make the mister? If so how and if not wherw did you buy it :) Awesome frogs and tanks :D

  • @reptles nope not in captivity in the wild they eat a type of fire ant that provides them there toxins even in the wild if u got there poison on your hand u wouldn't die if u stuck it in your mouth then u should care also if u r asking this because u plan to get one and handle it u can't they r simply for show

  • wow these are beautfull

  • How much

  • are you selling the pdfs

  • what do they eat?

  • Brilliant! I am a new dendro owner (two azureus and two bicolor in separate habitats) and am still trying to figure out an effective misting regimen that also conserves space. Any suggestions?

  • are they still poisonis if you have them as pets

  • what size tank is that

  • That is what I call a perfect habitat, those frogs are really lucky to have a owner like you.

  • Ha, the misters always make it look like the reptiles/amphibs have been hot boxing.

  • So beautiful...

  • where do u get the moss to

  • How can you tell that "they really like the mist"? I'm not doubting it except that they looked perturbed to me. I can't tell an agitated frog from a serene frog.

Which brings me to something else...you know you can pet dogs and play with them and stuff, right? Just making sure.

  • eat it have fun!!!!!

  • Hey where did u get the moss ?

  • r u going to make another mister or wat, cuz u said the plants and the frogs love it y sell it

  • ur background looks unfimiliar? what technique did u use for it?

  • Hey Kendall that was a neat misting set up! Was that a normal humidifier that you converted to a mister using pvc, a T, and tubes.

  • i know they are not poisonous in captivity but why cant you touch ithem s it because the oils on your hands will harm them or is it that they have some toxins around

  • do poison frogs have poison glands like toads ?

or they just get their poison from their diet ?

and if i change the diet from hatching will they be poisonous ?

and if i have a poisonous frog , and i changed his diet , will he become non-poisonous ?

thanks , and sorry because of my questions .

  • up the shaft

  • love the tank!

  • only one thing you mustn't to do is don't pick them or touch them or else you will have a problem

  • @Centaurian0190 if they were captive bread than it doesnt madder if u touch them

  • so there not poisonous naturally

  • are there naturaly poisonous or do they eat some thing that make them piousness

  • @smuggeler they are poisonous if fed poisonous insects

  • can a poisen dart frog kill a human

  • Awesome aquarium man! I wish I had this same thing for mine and my sister's Leopard Gecko.

  • what is the floor?.(grass, algae, etc.)..thnx

  • just wondering if you are willing to make me one of those. pm me.

  • hey im working on my own Vivarium but im having a lil trouble with misting should i have it on low for most of the day or... what i have it to right now is it gos on for a mint evey 4 hours "on high " just enough time to fill the whole tank with fog ... is that ok or is that too much

" im gunna be puting dart frogs in it" ... "yellow backs"

  • where did u get blue frogs ive never seen them blue

  • are they hard to take care of?

  • do you have any more? x

  • What walls are they, and where did you buy them please, i want a wall what i can grow plants of :)

  • wow just wow man I love natural viv like yours with real living plants :)

  • lol they love it!! i really want some frogs tree frogs or strawberry poison darts i think they are called but i doubt my mum (im from the uk) will let me gave any :(

  • That video is extremely racist towards Mexicans.......................Nahhh i'm just kiding.

  • thats a stunning tank how hard are they to make / keep up. does the moss need high intensity light/

  • dude if you wanted to kill your friend you could just rub one of them on a piece of his toast

  • Are your backgrounds homemade or did you buy them? If so where?

  • wow very nice made

  • how did u get tht moss like stuff at the bottom of the cages

  • cool frogs

  • your frogs look amazing

  • i dint know u could own one of those!

  • what kind of humidifier is that man ???

  • ohm, are you gonna make another one for your frogs or are you getting rit of your frogs aswell??

  • Nicely Set up (Y). These Frogs are sickk

  • I am the creator of this video and I actually have this mister posted on eBay right now. If you want to own it, go to eBay and type: 200436480145 in any of the search boxes and it will bring you to this mister. It ends on February 15th. Good luck if you choose to bid.

  • Where did you buy that timer? I've been looking for one like it on Amazon, and haven't been able to find any...!

  • are these things really poison? and will it kill you? i know these are stupid questions

  • @KendallRoberg What is the floor covering you have in the tank on the right?

  • awesome setup. how much does a setup cost with the frog?

  • i want to get ither or frogs but i dont kno were to get it can u tell me were u got those??

  • hey you got a good camera

  • I need those misters!

  • love the moss, just got back from a major moss gathering outing with a fellow herper. hope it keeps well

  • how much did all this run you?

  • how much?

  • you have the moost sickest set ups ive ever seen were did you get that fogger

  • can you please tell me how you did the backing to your tanks?

  • nice cages

  • Ok, I'm thinking about purchasing some moss (maybe spaghum moss), but I was wondering, does it need to have soil under it to grow? or can you just use gravel underneath it?

    Thanks in advance,

    Zac..

  • it depends largely on the type of moss. some only grow on rotting wood and leaf litter, some only grow on thick sandy soil. some grow on rocks and live trees. just sitting the mats on patties of tighly packed dirt or wood seems to work so far for me

  • i have a question..how many frogs could live in 10 gallon terraniums?

  • what kind? are you mixing species? how big will they be as adults?

  • amazing cage

  • this is an amazing set up im saving up for one just like it preferrably bigger. Question will different species frogs fight or they get along

  • what kind of moss is that?

  • they are only poisonous in the wild. They eat toxic insects in the wild but when they are captive bred they dont have the toxins in them that would make them poisonous. You cant handle them though so I dont think it really matters.

  • lol, there only poisonous if you like eat them. But dart frogs that are captive arnt really that toxic. If you ever handle one, which you shouldnt do anyways, then you should just wash your hands after

  • the little guys are not poisonous, the frogs in the jungle get their poisons from various mites which contain poisonous alkaloids. Captive bread frogs are not fed the mites so they are mostly harmless, you can lick them all you want.

  • @fai1saf3 have fun licking your frogs dude i wont even touch one of those fuckers

  • Where did you get the background for your tank?

  • how big r the tanks 2ft?

  • they are 10 gallons

  • wow that looks great

  • this might be stupid but can u asorb the poison into your skin if you handle a dart frog?

  • nope

  • Hello, Can you tell me where you got the background and also did you use regular soil for your bedding?..........

  • where do you get poison dart frogs

  • what is it called on ebay

  • cool

  • what type of mosses are you using? I want to use kyoto, riccia, or sheet moss because i want a type of thick moss that doesn't grow tall. any suggestions?

  • Please can you tell me the exact dimentions of your tanks.

    many Thanks..

  • it looks like your hotboxing them lol. can you hold them or are they posinous?

  • you can hold them but it is not advised due to stress, they are only poisonous in the wild because of certain insects they eat have toxins int hem so insects that you feed them in captivity will not give them toxins

  • I'd just like to point out that each frog should have a minimum of 10g of space. So both of those tanks should be at least 20g. Hopefully those set-ups weren't permanent.

  • OK wiseguy, the frogs won't go on a hunger strike due to crowded living. Least to say, I'm sure they are happy they wont get eatin by a tropical snake.

  • hey what is your background made of?? I really realy like it :)

  • do you have a drainage area or is that just soil? also what kind of plants are you using as ground cover? one more thing i also have a ten gallon terrarium and recently mold has begun to take over, i notice there is no mold in your tank and you are not using a fan. what should i do? i want my tank to look like yours. it is for a final project at school and mine is pretty shitty.

  • dude thates not true

  • what is the best way to provide the frogs with water in a ten gallon tank? also what ground cover plant do you have growing?

  • they dont need water if u keep the humidity at 80-100% but u can put a small pool for looks

  • i live in enland and i wont poison dart fros so bad if ny one nos were to get then send me message

  • du must of drilled a hole in the bottom of the tank

  • love it!!! which is the more bolder species of your dart frogs?

  • can i buy one of ur tanks? i really want one please reply!

  • thats awsome....nice frogs

  • what type of mister was it. I'm sure i'm to late to check ebay?

most misters have bad connections for a hose.

  • hi

im a newbie to dart frogs but if i was to get a male and female do you think i should make part of tank aqautic for the egg spawn

  • dart frogs don't lay there eggs in water. They do put there tadpoles in a very small pool of water though like the cup in a bromeliad plant.

  • how much is it

  • this is awesome :) i love poison dart frogs and blue are my fav :)

  • what kind of background is that?Foam/ coco fiber?

  • Yes, it is Great Stuff Foam with coco fiber. I also just cork bark and driftwood on these two tanks.

  • u r selling the tanks and the frogs??

  • so are you using a regular Sunbeam Ultrasonic Humidifier. where can i get one
