@bori58 As for the Galaxy S1, Camera wise, it the same as iphone4 but without a LED flash. CPU and GPU wise its faster than iphone 4. Screen wise nothing beats the SUPER AMOLED display. Network features pretty much the same. OS wise, ios is damn dull and boring, so restricted, android is faster, open source customizable great os. The only down point for android os is the apps support, ios has more apps and games support, but android is catching up fast, it's relatively new os.

@jozeaphe I can only agree with the displays but not by much, t the rest you are stickily going by specs not fact. Camera are both 5MP but the iPhone 4 camera software makes pictures brighter and richer looking, better then most 8MP. IOS is dull, boring and the most stable OS for phones, droid is linux ( enough said) and if you want to customize the iPhone you can always jailbreak it and it will still be more stable then the droid. Market place is far behind....

@bori58 I did post benchmarks numbers and facts, besides you can't say single core 1GHz - 512MB RAM CPU vs 1.2 dual core 1.2GHz 1024MB RAM CPU is just numbers, because it's not, its real-time performance differences, and goes the same for the rest of the specs. Yes the iphone camera has brighter images due to flash and maybe software preferences, but have you heard of Android developments? due to the fact that android is open source there are many user improvements to it....

I proved that myself with my sons Atrix which is a 1G dual core and it is faster but by little I mean very little. Don't forget Apple make much of the hardware and OS on these phones and don't depend on other manufacturer to do it for them.

@bori58 We will see, since you're not an android fan, you're not following the news, by the time the iphone5 is out with its 1Ghz or 1.2Ghz dual core CPU, samsung will release 1.5Ghz dual core CPU, that's 500-300 Mhz faster than what iphone5 supposedly to have. And if you don't know appreciate how fast is 300-500 Mhz is, Intel's old Pentium 3 first generation was 500Mhz, a PC's CPU speed is the difference between the upcoming Samsungs mobiles over the upcoming iphone.

You are right on processors but are wrong on how they work, a smaller processor can be faster then a larger depending on the 1 processor, 2 hardware surrounding it and 3 OS. Example I had a MBP 2.4 4 gram that was faster then a dell XPS 2.8 4g in opening the same programs. Figure that one out.

@bori58 You just don't get it do you? You just keep bringing up the Atrix again, SGS2 is NOT like other Android phones, so the Atrix's 1Ghz dual core CPU is NOT as fast as SGS2 1.2Ghz dual core CPU for 2 reasons:

1. 1.2Ghz CPU is 200Mhz faster than 1Ghz CPU.

2. SGS2 CPU chipset is faster the Atrix.

YOUR ATRIX is not any where near the SGS2, so you can't use the Atrix as the bar to compare the SGS2 against the iphone4. If the SGS2 is purebred royal blood Great Dane dog, the Atrix is just a mutt

@jozeaphe I am not comparing the IP4 to the SGS2 I am comparing the IP4 to the SGS1 which was what we started talking about, you keep comparing the IP4 with the SGlS2. I can only compare phones Ive had and to compare the IP4 with the newer SGS2 would be unfair. The reason I bring up the Atrix VS iPhone 4 is because Ive I have tested each not by benchmarks but by using them side by side.

I still prefer the Galaxy S1, I love android, and I hate iOS, I love the screen of the SGS1, and I hate the small screen of the iphone4, when I play fifa 2010 for example on my ipod touch 4G, and despite my hands are normal in size, my thumbs still get all over the screen and i hate it so much. Performance wise, I believe the SGS1 has the edge, but its a personal preference.

@jozeaphe I was going to just let it go but a friend of mine told me to watch this video : Samsung SII vs iPhone 4" and once again with all the hype that the SGS2 is getting I wasn't impressed by it. It might blow the IP4 on specs but in real life the IP4 is less laggy, it open all apps and websights on the first try. The SGS2 was faster on some apps and websights but not by much and it was slower on some also. The guy is very pro Samsung so please don't put much into what he says.

@bori58 You are still thinking as an iOS fan boy, you don't understand android os, the beauty of it and the strength of it, yes the stock android os is not so good, but being an open source with huge independent developers support, you can get so much improvements, like Hardware accelerated lag free browser, or you can change the HD recording from 62kbps or 128kpbs to even 192 and 320kpbs, or you can remove all samsungs junk apps from your system, you can even script your own kernel as you want!

@joewannabe1 The phone is beautiful but it does lag. I don't own the phone but other then the lag issue it has to be charged regularly and the owner ( former iPhone user) has complained of the phone removing apps on its own.
