i think rancid is probably one of the most overlooked bands in history. they fuse not only punk but a whole bunch of other styles. they're songs can be loud and they can do something as intimate as this at the same time.
it doesnt matter what is going on in life or how good or bad it gets. listening to rancid makes everything better everytime. definately the most influential band in my life
