I love your reaction to the film LOL! I am married but I kept giving my husband the longest side eyes for about a month after watching it! Wish-a-mutha-would! LOL.
I thought it was depressing too. I just wish that there were more positive black movies. I know that there are a lot of good, interesting, positive stories to tell about black people. I wish someone wud get busy telling them.
Tyler Perry should have called this movie, "Warning: For Colored girls who want to brainwashed into depression and asexuality." It's a horrible depiction of--well, I am not really sure what the hell that movie depicts. I'm colored and I have never seen anything so dramatic in my life. He seriously over did that movie. Although it was dramatic, Tyler should stick to comedies.
As hard as it was 2 watch i ended up watchin it 3x in 3 days lol. I just recently saw it as well. It opened my eyes & strengthened me. Taught me how 2 take more precautions & made me wanna take a lot less mess from men. But I haven't lost hope & u shouldn't either. Focus on being the best woman u can b & ur king will come along & treat u the way u deserve 2 b treated. & stay in a public place w/ dudes till u can confirm they're not psycho :-/
@SugaStormBabi Richard ayoade is MINE. lol I say the movie sometime last week of no relation to your post. I've also read the book and saw a local production of the play. So i didn't expect much from the movie. They changed some things, but overall I REALLY liked it. I think the original is a bit more uplifting though...
Gurl! I understand how you feel. That movie made men look like complete monsters. The children.... ='[ (trying not to add spoilers) but that scene was worse than a horror film. Ahhhhhhhh! ='[
Haha your face was hilarious I must say it was Tyler Perry's best film. I reacted the same way I was like men are the devil lol

@TheBellaNaturale Lol That's the biggest message I got from that movie. Public places at least 5 months into the game! Lol.

@LaRecessionistaFiles about 50% serious. My mind would change if Richard Ayoade was single.
