About the gameplay, I loved it in Other M, but they could take away that zoom that she walks slowly and put more parts with the classic 2D platform. Or a 360º camera would give us more freedom to play. They could put the charge beam fast since the begin too. I think the rest is fine. ;D
The only games I don't like are Pinball (just a boring pinball) and Zero Mission (not a good remake, too changed and that extension after Mother Brain sucks). Good thing they don't interfere in the storyline. I LOVE ALL OTHERS, they have creative plots, cool gameplays and good graphics for the time they're released.
MY FAVOURITE IS METROID 2 because it's completely new and different from the 1st, and told more about the metroids than any other. Metroid Queen is the coolest enemy ever!

But my opinion about Zero Mission changed a bit since I wrote that comment. Now I think it very fun to play and since the begin I loved the improved musics, but I still think Metroid 1 much cooler and hate that extension. But it's cool.
Now that I played Fusion twice, I don't think it's a bad sequence anymore. Just not special as Metroid 2 and Super were. What I don't like is the search for items, you must take ALL powers only to begin the search. The plot is okay, I only hope they show Samus as normal woman in a possible sequence (Other M is between Super and Fusion), not changed because of the Metroid-vaccine. I'd like to see the Federation's reaction about Samus' disobedience. Very challenging game, SA-X was a great enemy.

first time I played Fusion, I was hella scared of SA-X. The hallways were so quiet, and you were all alone. Then you hear footsteps and before you know it you running for dear life, looking for a way to hide. SA-X, a cold killing machine. Samus must be an adrenaline junkie cuz i can't imagine who'd want her job.
its the biggest 2d metoid game yet, it has much more items like the grapplebeam, and the x ray-visor, it has better boss fights, better music, and the best ending of all 2d metroid games. there is your proof, now go play it

The games are loosely based on the "Alien" series, particularity in Alien resurrection (4th movie) Ripley is cloned/fused with Alien DNA like Samus in Metroid 4. The Metroid films, in a sense, were here all along :p
John Woo gained the rights for permission to make a film but that was back in 2004 and the rights have since expired, though the movie was never officially canceled. This was actually the second attempt to make a film, but it suffered the same fate. Frankly, I'm determined not to let him get there first!
lolz, i know that. it's just that the Fusion suit (the suit in this commercial) isn't strong enough to face the SA-X because it can get frozen by the Ice Beam.
I had the same fear when I was told about the Sa-x. This was the first metroid I played. Man it felt like the movie alien. With the sa-x running around, it felt like being hunted by a big scary monster. Then again so was everything in the space station.
I guess it depends what you like. Fusion is one of my favs coz of the story with the SA-X the cutscenes are pretty cool aswell. I want an old school metroid game on the ds to be honest. I like the Prime series but i prefer the oldschool 2d style!

yes, i still remember this game scaring me. and i said, oh come on, this shouldnt scare u! but the last part of the game AND the part where SA-X came into the ship scared the freaken CRAP! out of me. those parts still kind of scare me today. to bad i barely have time for it.

BEST Advance game ever! and best metroid in my opinion. it was the first game i played were i were SCARED of 2D game!! I like DS metroid too but this one rule it, love the story too... you can feel samus emotion.... T.T

The games are loosely based on the "Alien" series, particularity in Alien resurrection (4th movie) Ripley is cloned/fused with Alien DNA like Samus in Metroid 4. The Metroid films, in a sense, were here all along :p

John Woo gained the rights for permission to make a film but that was back in 2004 and the rights have since expired, though the movie was never officially canceled. This was actually the second attempt to make a film, but it suffered the same fate. Frankly, I'm determined not to let him get there first!

I had the same fear when I was told about the Sa-x. This was the first metroid I played. Man it felt like the movie alien. With the sa-x running around, it felt like being hunted by a big scary monster. Then again so was everything in the space station.

I guess it depends what you like. Fusion is one of my favs coz of the story with the SA-X the cutscenes are pretty cool aswell. I want an old school metroid game on the ds to be honest. I like the Prime series but i prefer the oldschool 2d style!
