  • I don't have vintage tuning pegs, but I enjoyed listening and learning anyway. NIce Vid bro.

  • Very helpful u da man

  • Thanks man, this Squier is really a good guitar :) What is your experience with strings breaking? How long does it take in your case and what kind of strings you like? Thanks for response

  • worst instructional video ever

  • Dude... Not a very good showing here

  • "this is my G string" LOL :L

  • nice man! my 50s reissue strat has those same pegs and there annoying sometimes cuz the thinner gage strings for me sometimes pop out when i try to wind them and so i keep my finger over the peg so it wont do that but sometimes it will find a say to slip out. i dont know its kinda difficult for me thats why i wanna switch the pegs out but i wanna try and get used to em and see what happens.

  • Great video! I like that you run into all of the problems that I do when making a video. Informative and that is a nice axe!

  • THANK YOU! I have a vintage fender telecaster thinline and this really helped!

  • @chiknfulio man im sorry i forgot to log out and someone used my account...

  • My favorite line:

"...just bend it, and place it right down in the hole"

    nice video man

  • You're awesome man, thanks! Really helped me out.

  • i tried it the other day and its pretty awesome to be a a squier. if i was fender i would not put it in the quier category cuz its good and feels great

  • my one keeps popping out even when it starts to tighten

    i'll keep trying lol

    thanks for the vid :D

  • im glad you find winding a tuning peg by hand theraputic. great video debraun

  • thx for the vid

  • throwed another black dude playing guitar we are taking over lol

  • @JAVARI1000 Black people playing guitar is only a rarity in mainstream music ha

  • @chiknfulio true. funk it up

  • @chiknfulio i for one welcome my guitar over lords lols

  • can you make a new one so that we can actually see what you are doing? I have a vintage strat and i cant figure it out

  • Feel free to start and stop/pause the video. I explained things pretty clearly. You cut the string to the desired length, crimp the string and place it in the hole, then wrap it around the peg while keeping your finger on top of the sting and the peg until it gets tight enough to stay in. Then just tune it

  • i hate my tuning pegs so much this sorta helped

  • Love the vintage tuners. BTW i like to use the other half of the broken string to punch out the string ball stuck inside the tremolo block.

  • Ya, I normally just use the broken string to punch it out, but sometimes it still gets stuck. That is the only negative thing about Strats.

  • my string always pops out O_O any tips?

i use Roto Sound 9 gauge

  • My suggestion is just to make sure that you keep your finger on top of both the string and the peg. Once it gets tight enough it will stay in.

  • great video ! maybe too long though but it is useful

  • Well there's no other competition... The way I see it, if you don't know how to do it the time is not really necessary if you do then I guess it doesn't matter. But thanks for the comment and I hope it was somewhat helpful :)

  • "kinda like James Jamerson's funk maschine" ... yeeehaaa really nice lookin guitar ;)
