Can't believe nobody pointed this out but: SPAS is short for SPORTING Purpose Automatic Shotgun. It is a combat shotgun but it was given that name in an attempt to convince the U.S. government that it had a sporting purpose and allow it's importation (this has been a semi-successful).

@TheBfmv4ever I personally hate it coz of rate of fire one in BO was semi-auto and I like to run assassin while using Shotgun or LMG due to that if I just barge into like 5 people i might get 2 maybe 3 if I am lucky but then my streak will be ended because of pump action due to that i used the striker and loved it but then these guys nerfed it so now I am using the USAS it a decent weapon quick reload, nice ROF and gives you a hidden boost of running so I can travel longer distance

@achalvyas90 i personaly use all the shotguns except for the aa, i have gold for the striker the spas and the uas, the ksg is almost there, the striker is by far the best, even after the patch its still a beast in my opnion, got 2 moabs with it, one before patch and one after

@TheBfmv4ever Ya but the difference is I am pretty sure you do it on console but I do it on PC where the ext mags glitch doesnt work and I have played the striker after patch on console its far better than on PC i also have gold on Striker, KSG USAS on lvl 28 so yeah thats a big difference right there, (if you don't know about ext mags glitch - ext mags on shotgun adds more damage(pellets) so it kills more quickly)

An incredibly overlooked equipment in black ops' hay-day and still now, is the Jammer, the Jammer can disable equipment from a large distance, and most people either don't notice or assume they have been CUAV'd, it also jams motion sensors from a much greater range than they can detect someone, as a run n' gunner (and regular shotty user) this ability to make a campers defenses worthless was invaluable in my success in Black ops.

Why is there a Franchi SPAS-12 in a supposedly 60s game? To kids who don't know sh** about firearms here is that the SPAS-12 is an Italian made shotgun that has both functions of pump and semi-auto modes. 2, the SPAS-12 DID NOT enter introduction of manufacture until 1979. And 3, COD Sucks. I hate how they portray firearms and weapons like on here.
