I remember hearing him interviewed for the first time on Sirius XMU and thinking how inarticulate he was, and how he must be some kind of stoner idiot-savant. But having listened more, to both his interviews and to his music, I have to say he's really a very interesting guy with a lot to say. A much greater thinker than I was originally ready to credit him.

Bradford has Marfan's Syndrome which is a genetic disorder causes certain body tissues to be too elastic including the heart's aortic, so if not surgically corrected, the aorta can get too stretched and burst, causing instant death. Luckily, Bradford's was surgically corrected at 16 so he may live a long life.

Symptoms include: overly long limbs, long spidery fingers, scoliosis, underslung lower jaw, hyperflexibility, a concave or convex chestbone, above average height, vision problems, etc.

Also, you have no idea how painful Marfan Syndrome can be on the spine. Furthermore, it gets worse with age. Squeeze, Duran Duran, 10cc, Fleetwood Mac, R.E.M, Billy Idol, The Cars, Dire Straits.. One of my favorite songs is from Paul Young "Come Back and Stay" and "Every Time You Go Away" . A rarity is a group called World Party, the song is "Ship Of Fools". "Jump" by the Pointer Sisters always got me dancing. I miss 80's but glad I have thousands on IPOD.

Not for nothing, John Norris is MTV's old soul. He has that genuine spirit from the early 90s when MTV really was cool. He's seen tons and tons of shit, and he definitely has a decent taste in music. Something most people, if not all, involved with MTV lack dramatically. You're NEVER TOO OLD for music, he's a breath of fresh air. Reminds of when MTV lived up to its name and played MUSIC on TELEVISION. Keep it up John. I met him at a concert a couple years ago, sincere nice man.
