The consumer cannot buy "Responsibly" As this idiots say... The consumer cannot give himself the luxury of paying more for a service that is environmentally aware, people only want to save money, because the majority live in the middle class or in poverty I want to see you living with 4 dollars a day consuming responsibly don't be stupid... and if people that can feel they are not directly involved they don't care about the consequences, Open your eyes! Responsible consuming is a fantasy!!
@TheJames281 Well we are seeing that Responsible consumerism is not a Utopia, It's an IMPOSSIBILITY. If not, Why are we ALL still buying at Wal-Mart!? ¬¬
It's SO real for people to consume responsibly with 1 dollar a day right!?
- What should I do!? Use this dollar to Survive or should I care about Trees dying in the rain forest!? The rain forest it is! *Goes into fetal position and dies* ¬¬
(Oh and please remember that Capitalism is a Utopia too)
I have watched to many docs these past few months and they all use FEAR .. this one is the first that has shown me that there are people out there who are fighting for something more than shareholders and the best thing is these are people that are in positions to be HEARD ... thank you for posting this as scary and sad as it was it was also hopeful NEW WORLD ORDER ... well see about that !!!
A well balanced documentary that shows a history for the need for more Corporate Social Responsibility, using the opinions of leading people. After the 'Global Financial Crises' of 2008, some people may be looking for a 'new model' for big business to provide more equitable interaction with the communities they affect, with suppliers & the environment they take resources from. This documentary balances the view that companies should act for communities honestly while making a profit for all.
@russellhbarnes true,, but the ultimate goal is to do what zeitgeist suggests. Profit is really the last thing we need because it only makes is greedy which in turn leads to war and all similiar miseries
