Beautiful job! You are very talented! So wonderful to have found you on the Skyrim duet with the pianist! Love your violin skills! It makes me wish that I had learned violin! I'm a singer, keyboardist, and played guitar and saxophone earlier. The violin has always been an instrument that I love to hear! It is truly beautiful! ; )
Thanks to all the soldiers out there for supporting our country including my dad! I love you dad(: this was a fantastic cover for a fantastic reason! Good job!:D
This is really cool cuz my brother is in Japan. He is in the marines and currently works in data systems and my dad is in the US army reserve for California. :)
Thank you, Taylor! My late husband was retired Army, a veteran of Vietnam and the first Gulf war, and my only son currently serves on an aircraft carrier in Japan. This means a lot to me. You are as thoughtful as you are talented!
As much as we in the Armed Forces appreciate the gratitude of the great Americans we would gladly give our lives to protect, Memorial Day is ONLY about those who already have! So never thank the living Vets on Memorial Day, that's what Veteran's day is for :) And NEVER say Happy Memorial Day, it is anything but. :(
Now that I got that off my chest, I'll say you are absolutely SPECTACULAR on that violin! Hope we see this one again on Veterans Day!
Thanks for the meaningful upload! You did an amazing job! I could probably listen to you play all day long! Aside from the Star Spangled Banner, the Army song was the best, hooah! :p
But on a more serious note, they were all amazing pieces! Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your talent with the world!
Well performed. The second time I listened it sounded even better than the first. May I ask what you use as reference for the tempo? Do you hear the music while you play, and if so how?
I am a beginning Violinist and a US Army Soldier for 11 years, THANK YOU for your tribute as it rang chills throughout my soul. I am going to watch this as many times as it takes until i learn each of these renditions you so amazingly played. I am a beginner and have only strumed the strings and learned twinkle twinkle little star, one day i hope to play these great songs with such passion and desire as you have shown here. Thank You and God Bless.
I noticed something. You do exactly what I do while playing an instrument, and that's the thousand yard stare. I always stare off into space while playing, and the fact that you do it too shows how in tune with your instrument you really are. You are amazing at it. And I support the troops, and my friends in the military. I enjoyed this. :)

@123VivaDjazair Im sorry are you speaking of the Zionist masters who spend millions of dollars in foreign aid to help others, or the Zionist master who are first to respond when the world needs a helping hand. The fact is is that their own people placed them in that position. I am not trying to justify the deaths of the innocent, but in times of war things like that happens and you should realize that. Innocent blood shed is spilled each and everyday, with or without war.
I'm speaking about the unelected Zionist masters who pulls the strings behind the scene and who give the American people an illusion of democracy!
I am talking about the Zionists who spend not millions but BILLIONS of American tax payers money to wage wars on all those who do not bow to their vision of a new world order where Zionists are kings and the rest of humanity are slaves!
Let's leave it there and not flood this video comments with obvious off topic postings.
You should have just shut your mouth and let me make a mild comment about not glorifying the armed forces even though they are also victims to the Zionist evil mafia that use them as they please.

As a member of the USN I can say tributes like this actually do mean a lot to us. It means something that our people think about us, and I'd like to thank you for taking the time to post this. And may I say "GO NAVY, BEAT ARMY"!!!!
As a marine who's served in both Iraq and Afghanistan the Star Spangled Banner was very touching. I kept waiting for the Marine Corps Hymn and thought I was going to be disappointed until 5:30 rolled around. Excellent excellent cover. Gorgeous smile, and posture. Keep it up.
Thanks for the songs. lol it was weird hearing the 'Army goes rolling along' on a violin lol
@morpheas786 I didn't remember seeing any of the big corps when I signed up. Now I saw brave men and women joining for their country and I have to say the brothers I lost died so you can speak your mind. Enjoy the freedom buddy while I go back to the sandbox and fight for 'Freedom'.
Hi Tay, can't help but wonder how many comments are from actual veterans on here. As a veteran myself I want to say thank you; most of us serve expecting nothing in return but it is nice to hear people acknowledge what you've done with simple expressions of gratitude such as this. Loved the simple version of the Star Spangled Banner . . . very tasteful. Thank you and God bless.
I don't understand how this has any dislikes. I mean, if you don't like the military, don't listen to it. But it doesn't deserve any dislikes. It was beautifully played, and is very inspirational. I'm not related to anything military, but I give this super thumbs up. Keep up the great playing girl.
Wow lol! This simple video caused all this? Haha. I was gonna ask Taylor to play the german national anthemn, but if this caused such heat, who knows what that might do. Lol.
I am not an american, but she is totally justified to honour her countrymen. Corrupt governments or not... These individuals did their duties for their nation. And thus, I salute them!
Nice tribute Tay! Your music continues to impress! I love military music!!
Well played! I would have wanted the violin in the second song to be a bit lower in volume though, to blend with the music better! Otherwise, great job. You have such a clean tone.
u make such a rich sound when you play and i dont usually listen to military anthems, but i listened to the whole video and felt like i was inspired... or something...
i mean, i dont know what kind of inspiration, or if it even should be called that, but the feeling was there.
All in all, I really like a song that is a tribute to people who tragically lost their lives in war. I think it does them justice, and honors them. But national anthems and songs that praise the military and stuff, thats a no-no for me.
Governments, nations, Kings, Emperors, have always tried to make people want to join the military and go to war, in many ways, whether by force or by manipulating them, but terrible destruction of war is always present, and that is what I really wanted to say.
Military music always makes me think of walking through the haus der geschichte in the world war section. If you've never been it has real footage from the first and second world wars showing people cheering at military parades juxtaposed with footage from the battlefield and the awful death and devastation war brings.
Maybe it's just because of Germany's past, but I always struggle with military music. Still, that's no reason to dislike a video, your playing was excellent as always.
Thanks for the tribute! I am a veteran and appreciate this... I just wish people wouldn't just remember us or honor service men on just one day of the year. Regardless of the reasons why we went to war, the fact is that we went and we died and lost our minds over there.
So, while I'm not asking everyone to celebrate the day, I do ask that you at least recognize and realize just how many men and women, just like you; died, or lost friends, family, and sanity.
I just want to say that it makes me sad that so many people here are either willfully misunderstanding or misinterpreting my very simple video here. All I tried to do was make a video in honor of this day and those serving, not some profound analysis of government, war, or anything else. It's a pretty straight forward, heartfelt sentiment, and if people can't understand that, then yikes...
Now that you have so many subs I doubt you'd see this but may it remain here for posterity.....Your individual style is very celtic! You seem very influenced by such music!! Those sixteenth triplets/grace note fills you added in the anthem were beautiful, I really like it. I would enjoy seeing you improvise a bit more =)
The sad thing about all that though, is that these people didnt really died for their country, but for the corrupt corporations that the country is supported by, because the whole purpose of war is for big corporations to profit from it, and in extent, benefit the countries they support.
Yeah, I know I am going to get flamed for all that, because most people are literally brain-washed, but thats ok.
@morpheas768 That's your opinion I guess, but my opinion is that you're being disrespectful. That's the great thing about living somewhere where you have freedoms of speech and opinion though, we can both tell each other what we think :)
@ViolinTay Here here! and having just sworn the oath into the air force a short while ago, I thank you for this video it was beautiful. People like that really believe in what they are saying and as long as people stay open minded and consider all views then the freedom of speech is really being appreciated. Unless by his broken english my indicate, he might be a foreigner, in which case he really should stay out of it.
@ViolinTay From my point of view he is not disrespectfull, he just point out some thing that has been, that are, and will always be. But people have given their life, and they have done it for what they tought to be good and that must be honored. You do it nicelly. Thanks for them.
@morpheas768 I think you just missed the point: the song in honour of the deads. I do not think she intended to apologize them or glorify them... Of course, it would be nice to hear a collection of military songs from all over the NATO countries (just because of all the other soldiers who died in the 'Ghan and Iraq). :)
@GlobeMasterLover 1st of all, this isnt THE song, because its not 1 song. Its many different themes and anthems. At the end of the video, you can hear the US Marines anthem.
We are all sorry that these people died in war, which can be such a cruel gruesome death. I'm not being disrespectful here. But supporting the war, and thinking that these wars should happen, and then say it is honorable to die that way, well that is contradictory, to say the least.
@morpheas768 Morpheas, she played, I think, a theme/anthem for every service. I've to admit that I didn't listen to all of them because I was mobile on a bus. Btw, what you do not understand is that this World is not a Fairy Tale World: in some countries of this world power still comes out from the muzzle of a rifle and people in those places know that. So, when you can't reason with them, as Shakspeare said, you have to "unleash the dogs of war", even it is the most horrible thing...
@morpheas768 I see how you can think that, but in my opinion i think that the troops aren't just fighting for our country, they are fighting for so many others.
@MrShajack2000 I hardly think so, especially when people hardly ever benefit from these wars. In fact, many people have their lives ruined, by losing their loved ones, and getting a "We're sorry that your....died." letter in return.
So when you say they are fighting for so many others, thats not true in most cases, because there is no reason to fight at all.
Telling yourself that you're fighting for your family/loved ones, doesnt make much of a difference when you go to war, if it isnt true.
or your the brainwashed, disrespectful cunt muffin who was taught from birth to hate the troops. You don't deserve the freedom and life gifted to you by the troops that died, but sadly you still have it to spew your bullshit. Go to Afghanistan for a day and see how long you last, our boys have more integrity in their pinky toe than you do in your entire body. So for everyone HOW BOUT YOU FUCK OFF!!! Truth hurts bitch.
@insanity401 I'd rather not go to Afghanistan myself. People, countries, keep getting kicked out of there. The United States is no different (Russia was the last time, but is in no way the first; BTW the Taliban was funded and armed by the US in that case, isn't that wonderful?).
@insanity401 Yeah truth does hurt, but sadly you dont even know half of it.
And dont you dare talk about freedom, dont you even use that word. You have no idea what true freedom means, none of us do. Human race has never been as enslaved as it is right now, and human rights get violated more and more every day.
Also, if you're gonna start cursing and accusing other people, try to do a better job please, because you obviously FAIL miserably at it.
@insanity401 I dont blame you personally for being the way you are, because that is what our society breeds: People who will do everything they can to protect the system, and keep things as they are. The so-called 'self-appointed guardians of the status quo'.
I wasnt taught to hate anyone from birth, in fact, like you and nearly all people, I was taught nothing about our monetary system, nothing useful about war and the military, but instead I learned all that along the way. Sadly, you didnt.
@morpheas768 your kinda missing the big point that those people still died...so don't be disrespectful and respect that those people fought for your freedom
It makes me really sad that these people, and everyone who has died in a war, died like that. It also makes me sad the fact that 1/3 of people fought in wars have post-traumatic stress disorder.
@morpheas768 keep your opinionated thoughts about corruption to the blogs this is not the place for debate and enjoy the video for what it is the wonderful violin playing and remembering the fallen hero's of America :)
@morpheas768 While that's to some extent true, they also fight for other things. I do have to agree about the brainwashing though. However, that applies to everyone. I doubt anyo

If you ever seen the "Big Fish" movie, it would be wonderfull to listen you play one of th ose songs on the soundtrack ;)

Some people seem to judge too quickly. The rest of us know much better. Don't stop doing what you do ever so well, because I love it.

that was beautiful.
u make such a rich sound when you play and i dont usually listen to military anthems, but i listened to the whole video and felt like i was inspired... or something...
i mean, i dont know what kind of inspiration, or if it even should be called that, but the feeling was there.
thanks.

All in all, I really like a song that is a tribute to people who tragically lost their lives in war. I think it does them justice, and honors them. But national anthems and songs that praise the military and stuff, thats a no-no for me.
Governments, nations, Kings, Emperors, have always tried to make people want to join the military and go to war, in many ways, whether by force or by manipulating them, but terrible destruction of war is always present, and that is what I really wanted to say.
morpheas768 9 months ago
Not only do you genuinely love music, but you also use it to honor others who sacrificed so much. Keep up the good work.

Still, that's no reason to dislike a video, your playing was excellent as always.

the memorial day in my country is very different
people think in silence of all the british, canadians, americans and resistance figthers that died to protect our country against the nazi's
each culture has it's own way of doing things I guess
not judging you or anything you play amazing

ViolinTay 9 months ago 2
@ViolinTay
Those people who you mention are idiots. That's all I can say about them. As for your playing/tribute ..... awesome as usual, thanks for posting : )
hypemuch 9 months ago
Now that you have so many subs I doubt you'd see this but may it remain here for posterity.....Your individual style is very celtic! You seem very influenced by such music!! Those sixteenth triplets/grace note fills you added in the anthem were beautiful, I really like it. I would enjoy seeing you improvise a bit more =)
Arrow9100kj 9 months ago
The sad thing about all that though, is that these people didnt really died for their country, but for the corrupt corporations that the country is supported by, because the whole purpose of war is for big corporations to profit from it, and in extent, benefit the countries they support.
Yeah, I know I am going to get flamed for all that, because most people are literally brain-washed, but thats ok.
Truth hurts.
morpheas768 9 months ago
@morpheas768 That's your opinion I guess, but my opinion is that you're being disrespectful. That's the great thing about living somewhere where you have freedoms of speech and opinion though, we can both tell each other what we think :)

@ViolinTay Yes, that is my opinion, but I didnt mean to be disrespectful or offensive here. Anyway, I said what I wanted to say, and thats that.
morpheas768 9 months ago
@ViolinTay Here here! and having just sworn the oath into the air force a short while ago, I thank you for this video it was beautiful. People like that really believe in what they are saying and as long as people stay open minded and consider all views then the freedom of speech is really being appreciated. Unless by his broken english my indicate, he might be a foreigner, in which case he really should stay out of it.
mikeakaspike 9 months ago
@ViolinTay From my point of view he is not disrespectfull, he just point out some thing that has been, that are, and will always be. But people have given their life, and they have done it for what they tought to be good and that must be honored. You do it nicelly. Thanks for them.

morpheas768 9 months ago
@morpheas768 I think you just missed the point: the song in honour of the deads. I do not think she intended to apologize them or glorify them... Of course, it would be nice to hear a collection of military songs from all over the NATO countries (just because of all the other soldiers who died in the 'Ghan and Iraq). :)
GlobeMasterLover 9 months ago
@GlobeMasterLover 1st of all, this isnt THE song, because its not 1 song. Its many different themes and anthems. At the end of the video, you can hear the US Marines anthem.
We are all sorry that these people died in war, which can be such a cruel gruesome death. I'm not being disrespectful here. But supporting the war, and thinking that these wars should happen, and then say it is honorable to die that way, well that is contradictory, to say the least.
morpheas768 9 months ago
@morpheas768 Morpheas, she played, I think, a theme/anthem for every service. I've to admit that I didn't listen to all of them because I was mobile on a bus. Btw, what you do not understand is that this World is not a Fairy Tale World: in some countries of this world power still comes out from the muzzle of a rifle and people in those places know that. So, when you can't reason with them, as Shakspeare said, you have to "unleash the dogs of war", even it is the most horrible thing...
GlobeMasterLover 9 months ago
@morpheas768 I see how you can think that, but in my opinion i think that the troops aren't just fighting for our country, they are fighting for so many others.
MrShajack2000 9 months ago
@MrShajack2000 I hardly think so, especially when people hardly ever benefit from these wars. In fact, many people have their lives ruined, by losing their loved ones, and getting a "We're sorry that your....died." letter in return.
So when you say they are fighting for so many others, thats not true in most cases, because there is no reason to fight at all.
Telling yourself that you're fighting for your family/loved ones, doesnt make much of a difference when you go to war, if it isnt true.
morpheas768 9 months ago
@morpheas768
or your the brainwashed, disrespectful cunt muffin who was taught from birth to hate the troops. Truth hurts bitch.
insanity401 9 months ago
@insanity401 I'd rather not go to Afghanistan myself. People, countries, keep getting kicked out of there. The United States is no different (Russia was the last time, but is in no way the first; BTW the Taliban was funded and armed by the US in that case, isn't that wonderful?).
SwobyJ 9 months ago
@insanity401 Yeah truth does hurt, but sadly you dont even know half of it.
And dont you dare talk about freedom, dont you even use that word. You have no idea what true freedom means, none of us do. Human race has never been as enslaved as it is right now, and human rights get violated more and more every day.
Also, if you're gonna start cursing and accusing other people, try to do a better job please, because you obviously FAIL miserably at it.
morpheas768 9 months ago
@insanity401 I dont blame you personally for being the way you are, because that is what our society breeds: People who will do everything they can to protect the system, and keep things as they are. The so-called 'self-appointed guardians of the status quo'.
I wasnt taught to hate anyone from birth, in fact, like you and nearly all people, I was taught nothing about our monetary system, nothing useful about war and the military, but instead I learned all that along the way. Sadly, you didnt.
morpheas768 9 months ago 2
@insanity401 Wait, wait a sec.....

@morpheas768 your kinda missing the big point that those people still died...so don't be disrespectful and respect that those people fought for your freedom
Fallen28Pker 9 months ago
@Fallen28Pker Again, I am not being disrespectful.
It makes me really sad that these people, and everyone who has died in a war, died like that. It also makes me sad the fact that 1/3 of people fought in wars have post-traumatic stress disorder.
morpheas768 9 months ago
