  • Jazzy Jay ripped it!!!!!!!!

  • I honestly Blame Homosexuals

for the way rap has changed

  • great movie and how things were before crack hit the streets..... now todays version would be soooooo different....sad

  • i remember wagging school to watch this at my mates. 41 sucks, take me back to those easier days!!

  • so glad to have experienced this growing up.

  • any one know how the mc is???

  • @mrdemic It's Melle Mel of Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five.

  • @BokMah78

    wrong

The Rap is by Spyder-D ,

not Melle Mel or Kool Moe Dee

  • I love their fukin' voices!!

  • Mayor Edward I. Koch would allow this in New York.

  • Cool enough to be cool enough...Australia was sold on it.

  • I wish I had a pound for every time I saw these credits (lol) Classic movie...

  • this movie is dope. every line the mc is spittin is real, i live by those ryhmes everyday. i want them to be put on paper or somethin. plus the scratching that starts on 0:38 is crazy fits in well with the song. i want that beat street drawing for a t shirt or for a poster i can hang in my room. such an ill film

  • TURBO RULES

  • You better eat yo' eggs before I break yo' legs..

  • lol thats madddddddddddd 80's style

  • it was belafonte's "take" moron. try learning what the hell youre talking about idiot.

  • why are people dissing BREAKIN? BEAT STREET is not a better movie in my opinion, the only thing it did was get into more detail about the whole hiphop thing! BREAKIN was just that, it focused on the breakin and dancing, BEAT STREET focused more on hiphop like the graffiti, what they wore, and the dancing on cardboard and vinyl! now they can say what they want but i bet you that NOONE on BEAT STREET can move better than TURBO!

  • @strawwberryred Breakdance the movie was total pish,Electro Rock kicks,uk style.

  • muito legal este video, tank you

  • This is the real thing compare to the other gayish outfit movie BREAKIN the only real deal there is ICE T.

  • "You gotta believe in somthin, you gotta believe in someone, you got to have that special somthin that makes you wanna meet the morning sun" that was the most important part of the entire movie because i followed that line then and im still following it today. Wow back in 1984 i had quick no handed windmills into 15 headspins because of this movie. Anyhow now im programming computers and nothin has really changed because i have that special somthin that makes me wanna meet the morning sun!

  • 1984, that was the year I was born and it was the year break dancing was blowing up big time.

  • Best movie ever!

  • Why don't they air this again I mean the kids are attracted to what they see on TV Time to bring it back

  • And yo, can't forget the bell-shaped Kangols! Freessshhhhhhh!

  • Fat laces, Puma warm ups and kicks, painter's caps, breakin moves on vinyl, fresh graffiti-real Hip Hop, YO!

  • much the same as today's fucking yoof culture

no brain knife weidling fuck ups

except back in the day they fought with dance not fucking knives

thats why i dont condone this film it was A+ back in the day

fuck the winghers on here and take a look at the yoof culture in britain today

    fucking brain dead fucks

  • i love that final beat street out of nowhere

  • You're a loser

  • Wanker

  • this is pure

  • its way better than the shit the play now days and the stupid videos with the baggy pants it looks like you shitting in your underwear!

  • You're a tard. Superman that hoe? Are you serious? Wait wait, let's talk about Lollipops. Are you seriously serious? You should just go jump off Brooklyn Bridge or something, lemme not even try to school you child. Might make you go get Soula Bitch so he can Crank his stupid shit.

  • I am of Brazil, state of Sao Paulo and was b-boy.

Beat Street is without doubt the best film of hip-hop culture of all time, in my opinion not Tera another movie like this that marked both a generation and still attracts many young people of today.

A man to begin to be b-boy he must attend beat street.
