I don't think that's true.

Earlier in the movie, Jimmy's brother talks about the concept of ying-yang, ie. bad having a little bit of good in it, and good having a little bit of bad in it.

Jimmy has a little bit of bad in him, but essentially is a good person. It shows - even though Pando and his gang killed his brother, Jimmy can't bring himself to become a killer (He's a good person).

It's brilliant that Jimmy's brother set the whole series of events in motion. I think that Jimmy's dead brother possessed the girl and they both had their revenge on Pando's crew. This could explain why Jimmy is amazed at this girl, he might have seen his brother in her eyes.

The way Powerderfinger's 'These Days'is incorporated in to the final scene is nothing short of brilliant. Since Heath's untimely passing, I can't get this scene of him in the stairway out of my head. I love the shot where Heath (with his back turned) becomes obscure and out of focus. RIP Heath. TWO HANDS - best Australian Film of all time. Thanks for posting.

Same! I've loved that scene and song since I first saw it when it came out, listened to the powderfinger album for months straight on my way to work every morning. I think they played that song at his funeral too. This was a brilliant movie everyone was great in it. You get the sense when you watch this that he was on the cusp of something great and it just makes it all seem so much more unjust!
