The pledge of allegiance is not religious. It is a celebration of America and humbles itself before god and anyway a moment of prayer allowance allows the freedom of the first amendment. Literally, the words there mean that since the Federal goverment has a militia, the people need the check and balance of the 2nd Amend if the gov militia is used in an unlawful way. @zibianstein Yeah , we wouldn't want to remove religious brainwashing from our school kid's school experience! - and a pledge of allegiance shouldn't include a pledge to Allah or whatever your god may believe in. It should be a pledge of allegiance to the country and then you would likely find no problem. You are walking dangerously close to these morons my friend. -

@zibianstein True, this concept is NOT a law. 'Separation of church & state', is a concept expressed in a personal letter written by one of our Founding Fathers - I do not recall which one, Adams or Jefferson,maybe. I believe his point was to prevent government from inhibiting our religious practices/freedom, not to keep God out of government.

@BelleRidesAgain It was Jefferson. He was adamant that church and state be separate because he had seen the problems caused when they were not. The problem here is that many of our elite refuse to acknowledge the problem with Islam. They do not understand that Islam is not just a religion but a political and legal system. In fact it is more a political system than a religion. What is being preached by many of the Imans is sedition and even treason. Sharia is not compatible w/ the Constitution.

@zibianstein With all due respect the pledge of allegiance was fine before they added the religious wording to it. The constitution makes does not allude to any religion just that its fine for each to have his or her own. Prayer has no part in education and it should be removed from school. Praying is no more effective than rubbing teapots looking for a genie with three wishes to bestow.

@zibianstein No, the seperation of church and state is just that, seperation of church and state. Its intended to keep the religious zealots out of government, and let the government be run by secular law. If you want a good example of how things are run without such a clause, you need only look to the Islamic world, where the state, and church are all daar al islam. Preventing laws being made based on religious dogma is what the seperation of church and state was meant for.

America doesn't get it and won't get it. It will eventually get very ugly..as ugly as it it gets. Just a fact because if we were to do what needs to be done we would be arrested and we are too well trained to follow laws and expect out officials to do the work for us and they will not.

I will believe we can make progress in this fight against Islam when we stop using the words "extremist" & "fundamentalist". Sura 9 abrogates all peaceful Meccan verses, and it commands Muslims to fight the infidels until none has a right to be worshiped but Allah. Look to the M.E. Islamic strongholds to see what Islam has in store for every democracy. They aren't out to force us to become Muslims, but they are striving to make Sharia is the dominant law of the entire planet.

Great work. Anyone with doubt to what's happening needs to see this video. Listen to them! In their own words they tells us their plan for the U.S. and why. Take them for their word. They are here and working every day on their plan for us. Be strong and face the facts people. We really need to debate this openly, without labeling people who understand it and seek the truth as racist. We can't win the war on terror without understanding the facts and discussing it.

Homegrown terriorism is real - great presentation in their words.Can we trust "religious" people that truly desire to subdue the west if they MUST instill Sharia Law on all? Are there really such things as "moderate" or are we just duped because no one wants to deal with facts? What more evidence does Americans need to see that Islam is not compatible with the ideals of America and our western way of life? My guess is that many more people will have to die before we do somethng - what a shame!
