I know that I cropped that song poorly (I was doing this at 1 AM in the morning on a super laggy laptop, half asleep right after watching Inception at my local theatre), but isn't the purpose the ACTUAL song and not how I edit it?

I did this because I thought it'd vary from all the other versions (the original/remixes).

Point is: I obtained a LOT better equipment, experience, and have hopefully satiated the hunger of many for Hans Zimmer's "Time."

@allusersunavailable AND - much to my surprise, there's a full, free, downloadable pdf of the music transcribed for keyboard. It's so simple as to be an example of pure genius on the part of Hans Zimmer to create the whole gorgeous 'Time' theme around a sequence of 4 incredibly simple chords being repeated ---- Am -- Em -- G -- D.

It even works if you play it on guitar.

@AlanSturgess I'm not really an expert on how the music gets composed, but regarding what you said about making something so gorgeous based on only 4 simple chords, that's just proves once again that the most ingenious things are made simple, but one has to be a genius to come up with that simplicity like Zimmer did
