@face66613 I totally agree dude! There's no question these 4 guys are fabulous musicians, but god! They are blatantly ripping off Dream Theater. Close your eyes and you would think its the new DT album. They are obviously great song writers but guys, develop your own sound, I'm sure you can come up with more unique stuff than just simply copying the band you're influence by. But I love the musicianship of these guys. So I love this stuff, and don't if you catch my drift.

@face66613 Yes, it's in the same style as Dream Theater, but you can tell that it's not Dream Theater playing. The vocalist sounds completely different to James LaBrie and the keyboards are very different to what Jordan Rudess plays.

The point I'm getting at is that I do not know another band that sounds more like Dream Theater than Bad Salad. That is both a positive aspect and negative aspect to the band. They have incredible talent much like Dream Theater but they don't seem to want to create anything but like their favourite band.

That concept isn´t patented by DT by any means even though they have made it bigger than most. Listen to Fates Warning, Symphony X, Pain of Salvation thay all sound a bit like DT, or is it DT that sounds like them?? Listen to the Steve Vai prog staff in the 90´s, sounds VERY much like Petrucci riffs to me... DT is not first you know....
